Thats good. It should make it much easier to get at the oil underneath now
I specifically remember reading a few years ago that some shipping companies are excited about the possibility of easier navigation of the Arctic, which suggests that they may have financial incentives to increase global warming. Don't tell the owner of Mar-A-Lago that...
Wow. Even the Daily Mail is talking about this.
Remember when the deniers around here posted endless threads about the record ice in the Antarctic a few years ago?
Fake News. The Earth is flat: it doesn't have any poles!

That's gotta be one of the signs of the apocalypse in itself  They even mentioned that we've had three consecutive record hot years. Must've been slipped through on the editor's sick day or something.
Well as the article notes, two years of decline however large haven't made a new trend in the Antarctic, yet. But I certainly remember all the headlines and posts in 2013 about the "growth" of Arctic ice... because the previous year had been the record low.
I suspect about this time next year we will be treated to JH spamming lots of blog posts about the dramatic increase in worldwide sea ice.

Wow ! The things you guys come up with
A friend and former colleague is doing work in Russia right now about the permafrost, which has begun to melt more drastically in the past three years. The greenland and polar ice sheet diminishment are well known, but not enough attention is being brought to the permafrost. If the permafrost melts even by 25% we are totally screwed because of the levels of methane that will be released.

Gaslighting is not the winning strategy you apparently think it is.
I'm sure it will be a great benefit to them but where does it say shipping companies are actively pursuing financial policies that will melt ice then ?
My, you read fast!
My, you read fast!
I read those articles a long time ago however my question remains
Prove it, then.
How could I possibly do that ?
