Yes, this is the same McCain who was criticized by Trump for being captured and who implied that McCain was certainly no "hero" because he was captured. Odd comments from a guy who received no less than FIVE deferments himself.

Now, before the chorus of "Trumpies" start the "whaddabout" defense of Trump by pointing out that Trump isn't the only POTUS that received a deferment, let me point out that they were not trying to undermine and discredit the FBI either.

At any rate, at least there is one Republican left in Congress with some measure of courage.

McCain????? He wouldn't know enough to spray on a little deodorant if he had a family of skunks livin' in his underwear. He'd have been booted from the Navy after he wrecked 3 planes if his Daddy hadn't been an Admiral. He's parlayed his good fortune into a political career, imagary, don't ya' know? War hero? NO! But give him credit for showing up. Let's not talk about him fraternizing with his captors while a P. O. W.. It's not a toxic nothing burger. It is a Democratic Party scheme to manipulate a compliant FBI. An undermining of the Democratic process and the Constitution. I don't like Trump, but this is much deeper than politics. Politics in the FBI. They're supposed to represent Justice, non partisan Justice. Close their doors!!!!/
