It's I'm definitely seeing signs that the upcoming debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on Tuesday, September 10, at 9 pm ET won't happen. Why? Washington Post reporter Josh Dawsey reported on Friday that the Harris campaign has not yet accepted the rules for the debate.

According to the rules, the debate will feature no audience, with VIP hold rooms for immediate family and staff areas on-site and in the media/spin room. The debate will be 90 minutes long, with two commercial breaks, and will follow a format without opening statements but with two-minute closing statements. David Muir and Linsey Davis of ABC News will moderate. Both podium placement and the order of closing statements will be determined by a virtual coin flip on September 3, where the winner can choose which aspect to decide.

Kamala can't debate but she can engage in her classic viral meme making moments of "I'm speaking....." which is ironic because of course she never really tries to say anything.





Sorry Kamala, three strikes and you're out. No one is going to fall for this again.

Plus while calling everyone a chicken about debates, you have to remember that not just the debates but their rules for how they would be conducted were also an agreed upon point.

Seriously these rules were set up to work against Trump and she still can't agree to them. No audience, no opening statements, no mics on are the Democrat wish list and she still doesn't want those rules.

What she wants is another "I'm speaking" moment since the only memorable think she can put forward while saying nothing is that you'd better not interrupt her while she is being so joyful in saying it.

Have anybody actually seen unedited Kamala Harris footage? I have and it's a total word-salad disaster. Whatever pills she's taking she needs to cut the pills in half.

Initially Harris insisted on Trump honoring the same conditions as were agreed upon between Biden and Trump. Trump initially balked saying those conditions were agreed upon with Biden, not Harris. Harris then chided Trump claiming he was afraid to debate. So Trump agreed to the conditions worked out between him and Biden. Now however she is insisting the mics remain live and I suspect its so she can have a moment telling Trump to hush.

I believe she'll go through with the debate. If she refuses, no matter the reason, the perception will be she can't handle it or is terrified of a poor performance. It would have a significant negative impact on her campaign. It means her team has made a calculation that going through the debate would do more harm than skipping it.

I don't think she has any choice, she'll commit to the same rules previously agreed upon.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if she chickens out.

Trump should negotiate and tell Heiress that she can have her open mic if she agrees to a 2nd debate on Fox.

She would do herself a favor by using Biden's hiding out in the basement strategy. The more she talks the more people see how vacuus she is.

It's only a matter of time before Swift endorses Harris. I really wish she'd hurry up and do it- push the dirtbag off the proverbial cliff!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee in the U.S. presidential election in November, on Saturday called on her Republican rival Donald Trump to debate her with their microphones switched on throughout the event.
Doesn't sound like "chickening-out" to me.....

"Donald Trump is surrendering to his advisors who won't allow him to debate with a live microphone. If his own team doesn't have confidence in him, the American people definitely can’t," Harris said in a post on X.

"We are running for President of the United States. Let’s debate in a transparent way — with the microphones on the whole time."

I believe Trump has now threatened to back out of thus debate twice now.

She hasn't threatened to drop out of it once.
