I'm not getting much solid data on this but I was watching the live stream and know that communication was lost. They shut down the live stream a few minutes ago saying that they would provide more information when available.

This, if it's a failure, is only the most recent in several failed landing over the past year. I guess it just goes to show how amazing the landings nearly 60 years ago really were.
