Litigation Coalition Forming to Confront Trump Administration Policies

They don't even try to hide lawfare anymore. Now they put it on a pedestal and proudly show it off.

I can't think of a word I'd change in the above other than to counter by saying, and then the dumb asses wonder why they lose elections. #Sweep2024

"We are the resistence!" is so 2016.

How dispairing it must be knowing that even if liberals manage to successfully challenge a Trump administraion policy before their beloved 9th circuit court that it has no chance of being upheld by the conservative supreme court. Just has to suck all the wind out of you.

*sigh*

Our poor idiot liberal friends have nothing to look forward to except one crushing defeat after another. You sort of have to feel sorry for them. Of course after a good amount of side slapping laughter.

I don't feel sorry for them. I'm enjoying exactly what I predicted they'd do. Keep making the same stupid mistakes, keep losing elections.

You mean what they did to Trump?! If it's happening to you I bet you would change your tune.
Government laws and policies get challenged all the time.

To bad we need to defend our democracy from dictatorship.

^ Case in point, post #28.

Not at all they should continue to ignore the will of the people and fight for the policies that cost them the election. Right on Callen!
Will of the people? Nah, just 30% of them.

ensure swift and effective responses to any executive actions deemed harmful or unlawful."
Looking at the big picture, let's say Einstein Trump and über expert RFJ put, preemptively of course, horse dewormer in our drinking water.
Would that be ok?

If Trump orders it, then of course all MAGAs are going to say it's right, proper, and justified.

That's President Elect Trump and prospective HSS nomination RFK Jr to you.
The rest of your silly post is a deflection, a classic pile of straw, trolling. Do better.

Still pushing this nonsense, I see.

The will of the people refers to those who actually came out to vote. Yes, the above poster is correct and you're still wrong.

That is exactly what worries me. This me and now, instead of looking ahead.
I remember when Dems thought the nuclear option was a good idea.

I'm an American and insist on my 1st amendment rights.

Facts aren't nonsense.
The people are US adults.
30% voted for Trump.

By no stretch of the imagination is the Trump presidency the "will of the people".

They ain't MAGA commies for no reason. They're going to echo whatever it is Dear Leader says, no matter who depraved or damaging the Will of Trump may be.

Democracy 2025. Let's go

Litigation Coalition Forming to Confront Trump Administration Policies

A coalition of over 280 organizations has announced what it says is a multimillion-dollar legal initiative to challenge policies from the incoming Trump administration. The coalition, "Democracy 2025,” includes legal, advocacy, and policy groups to "disrupt far-right attacks on the American people," according to its website.

According to a press release by the coalition, Democracy 2025 is spearheaded by Democracy Forward, a legal advocacy organization to promote "transparent and accountable governance.” The coalition says more than 800 individuals are involved, including "litigators, strategists, advocates, academics, policy experts, and faith leaders."

The coalition said it will use its litigation fund to "ensure swift and effective responses to any executive actions deemed harmful or unlawful."

Some conservative posters all in their feelings over this one.

C'mon, guys, Trump is a good guy, surely he has nothing to worry about having his policies scrutinized, right? They're by the book, and uphold the Constitution, right? If those dumbass libs want to waste their time and money, that's a win for you guys, right?

He's not going to be a dictator, he's not going to destroy democracy, he's not going to be corrupt.... so there's nothing to worry about here, let the libruls piss in the wind.

Right?

You mean what they did to Trump?! If it's happening to you I bet you would change your tune.
Trump's own employees - his campaign staff, his attorneys, White House staff and officials appointed by Trump - testified under oath against him! Some of them went to jail and took the fall for him. Some on the many juries, and some of the judges, were Democrats, too, but not all.

I'm now all in for Trump the king. We voted for it now bring it on.
