Oklahoma, every county voted for Trump

Oklahoma is 44th in education, 49th in health care, 44th in quality of life, 50th in test scores, in the top ten for the worst poverty in the nation

Now let's compare Massachusetts.

1st in education
2nd in healthcare
1st in quality of life
1st in test scores
Top ten for the lowest poverty levels..

Not sure about you...but it seems to me that Oklahoma was easily duped into voting for a billionaire that doesn't give a shit about them.
 
It goes beyond Oklahoma and Massachusetts. Look at the bright red deep south. The right likes to talk about crime in NYC and San Francisco and L.A., but crime in those red states is much higher. Education in those states is also horrible. Poverty, drug use, disease, crime, suicide rates, government assistance, red states.

It's impossible to figure why anyone with sense would vote for republicans. Look what they do to places they run.

People like to make fun of NJ. We have the lowest suicide rate in the nation. We're top 5 in fewest violent crimes and gun crimes per capita.

MAGA lives in a fantasy world.

of course....but I was comparing two states where not a single county voted for the opposite candidate...in other words, Oklahoma has no blue dots and Massachusetts has no red dots.

To solve, once and for all who the best is:

They should play a football game.

But if you wanted to be honest about the comparison, you would look directly at population (how homogeneous) differences. Locale differences. and income differential. Educational differences (all driven by the population differences)
Lots of poor States need help in raising up the educational levels of the people there. Primarily getting them (and their parents) to care about it, at all.

football doesn't save infants dying premature deaths, it does not educate the population, it does not bring up the average income rate, it does not remove the population from poverty....

How about some kind of a modified decathlon instead? We can bring a few busloads of "sportsmen" from Messytwoshits down to the Cimmaron, to engage in a week of hunting and fishing and hiking and camping. I would pay a lot to watch a bunch of nancy boys being humiliated.
