CNN — The US is investigating a leak of highly classified US intelligence about Israel’s plans for retaliation against Iran, according to three people familiar with the matter. One of the people familiar confirmed the documents’ authenticity.

The leak is “deeply concerning,” a US official told CNN.

It was someone in the Biden administration who leaked the documents.

The leak occurred on Friday when the Middle East Spectator Telegram channel claimed it had received documents about Israel’s strike preparations from a source within the US intelligence community.

I can't help but wonder how much of this was an intentional one to prevent an attack. I don't think the US is interested in playing hardball and threatening weapons shipment stoppage this close to an election since they've already issues one regarding humanitarian aid.
