So you don't see how your comment that LA can't be under occupation because the white neighborhoods are fine when the paramilitary is focused on Latino neighborhood is kind of absurd?

Now that it has become clear how all the money that was supposed to protect against pandemics redirected to ICE, and a lot more added there, things are not going to stay fine in the white communities. It's going to be the classic image of checkpoints turning up all over the place with random armed men ordering people out of their cars. ICE may have started as an immigration agency, but it has clearly been tapped to take on a Gestapo-like role. Remember: immigrants are the scapegoat, not the goal. The goal is power, and you don't get much power ordering around car wash employees and fry cooks.

ICE was created to protect us from foreign threats, not terrorize our communities.

You discount their view because it doesnt reflect the view you have from the white community.

Hence the comment about your lack of self awareness as white person. You're not there in their communities, but you know better from your white community perch.

No. That is what Customs and Border Patrol does....

ICE finds and deports people that are here illegally and that bypassed or overstayed their visit.

Here we call it Border Service... the Aussi's call it Border Force and there was a TV Show that was called Border Patrol. About Airport and smuggling.
