Why is breaking the unions of such great interest for so many? How can you look at what they've accomplished and think "Well, that's enough of that!" You REALLY believe corporations are going to take care of the working class (they've happily eradicated over the past 30 years) without being made to do so? Really??
I can see why the Koch brothers want them gone. *MOAR $$$$!!!!* - but why is the average working class stiff singing the same song.
And for those who believe unions have outlived their usefulness, take a gander at the voting law being gutted. Two hours later, Texas had their new legislation in place. People in power are corrupt enough without anybody standing against them. Take the unions out of the picture, and there will be no middle class.
No problem with private sector unions from this Conservative. Public sector unions? I think they are an abomination.
Why would they be an abomination.
And is that a homosexual abomination, or a shellfish abomination.

Nothing's changed. Corporations and the wealthy would rather have a case of the clap than to deal with a labor union. You know why? They think anything over minimum wage is overpayment to their serfs and they will fight tooth and toenail to prevent it.
quite false, many corporations and businesspay what is fair in order to maintain quality employees in order to beat the competition and make more money,of course this doesnt apply to unskilled labor,as they are a dime a dozen, whereas skilled labor in many fields is hard to replace, and no company would comprimise efficiency or customer satisfaction unless that job was so absolutely simple a caveman could do it,or the market was absolutely flooded with that requirement.
First, we cannot solve the problems created by our push toward socialism with more socialism.
Private sector unions' bargaining power depends upon the success or failure of their company. If the company can't afford their demands? They don't get met. Public sector unions rely on the bottomless pit that is Other People's Money. That fact, combined with the fact that politicians use their largess with public sector unions to buy their re-election makes for "abomination."
