This is bad for the global economy. Very bad. Especially for the Chinese economy. But Xi Jinping left the Duce no choice. Or at least the Duce so claims. China has to pay a price for not heeding the Duce's demands to cease all trade with Russia. July 8th, 2025 Zelensky the Peniless officially placed sanctions on five Chinese entities. Maybe the world economy is about to go into a tail spin.
Crazy. Indicative of Zelensky's increasing disconnect from reality. As well as increasing inability to restrain himself. It's almost as if by some crazy magic Miguel de Cervantes' nutty character, Don Quixote, has come to life and is President of Ukraine. Like Don Quixote, Zelensky does not see the world for what it is but imagines himself the most powerful President in the world.
A few months ago our modern Don Quixote, this time from Kyiv, set off to America to plead for weapons and funds from the actual most powerful President in the world. Somewhere, sometime, somehow during the journey Zelensky the Peniless completely forgot that he was heading to the Oval Office as a supplicant; hat in hand; along with the humility expected of a beggar. Instead the little Duce strode into the Oval Office with the arrogance befitting an angry landlord visiting a tenant behind on his rents; proceeded to mercilessly berate Donald Trump. VP Vance had to push back hard. The United States had not been this insulted since the days under the occupation of King George III and his horrible Redcoats.
Now our broke man from Kyiv is taking on Xi Jinping the World Banker!
Is Zelensky normal?
He is in Rome at present. And scheduled to visit His Holiness at the Vatican. It won't surprise me if he escapes the clutches of his minders and appears on the balcony of the Vatican in full papal gear, declaring himself His Holiness Pope Volodymyr, and calling for a Holy Crusade against Russian infidels.
but I digress. The article on the sanctioning of China by Zelensky the Peniless.

Ukraine sanctions 5 Chinese firms for supplying components used in Russian drones
The decree follows a publication by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), which said it recovered Chinese-made parts from downed Shahed drones during a July 4 air assault on Kyiv.
