Which politicians have been singing "Bomb Iran"?
And so you wonder why Iranians chant death to America? Looks like you answered your own questions... :roll:Why shouldn't the U.S. impose economic sanctions if these are effective?
Why should anybody believe that Iran wants nuclear capability solely for energy purposes? This defies credulity.
You're right.... I'll say it after the work is finished and still be right about it.How can you say that, when the works not even finished?
Oh no, for years I've known that a heavy water system isn't used by Iran for electricity - you see, heavy water systems and the number on centrifuges they have is being used for a weapons system. If Iran were really only about nuclear power they'd have no reason to enrich so much uranium in heavy water and commit so many resources to gather the byproducts namely plutonium. Only the very naive or very ignorant would say Iran is only using heavy water systems for nuclear power. And apparently you don't know that there is nuclear power programs that generate electricity, and there are nuclear power programs that are for making weapons. The P5+1 is working to ensure that Iran's program remains peaceful.
Ah "freak" Israel. The reason I stated it is to see how you'd react. My guess is your views are very anti Jew and therefore that shapes your opinion about Muslim nations getting nukes since Iran's view is they want to kill all the jews. So while your posts don't have the courage to just come out and say it, I think I've satisfied my own curiosity and you've posted enough to answer the question. Thanks for confirming. Why would I concern myself with your stupid hypothetical about Iran bombing Israel? That's not going to happen. It's a far more likely scenario that the freak in Israel will preemptively bomb Iran.

Well maybe they might stop saying that when our politicians stop singing "bomb Irraaan" or force economic sanctions on them... being nice and being belligerent goes both ways.

It seems we both agree that the Iranian leadership is almost child-like in their ignorance if they believe that this was anything but a joke, and not US policy. This is why children, or Iranians, should not be allowed to play with matches, much less nuclear weapon capability. And so you wonder why Iranians chant death to America? Not really, so stop rolling your eyes. Your claim was that politicians plural were singing "Bomb Iran." Actually, one politician, McCain, ill-advisedly sang this once. One politician one time.
And BTW, here's State Dept. info on those economic sanctions: Iran Sanctions
He's not just any old one politician, he's John McCain! He's also chairman of Senate Committee Armed Services , for Christ's sake!
That's ridiculous, the trust isn't in Iran. It's in the ability of Russia, the US, the UK, China, Germany and France to negotiate an agreement with Iran that prevents a weapons program with a verification process to monitor it.

"As I have said many times before, I believe that our countries should be able to resolve this issue peacefully, with diplomacy," Obama said. "Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons, and President Rouhani has said that Iran would never develop a nuclear weapon.
On Sept. 25, 2009, the Obama White House sponsored a background briefing by "senior administration officials" who said that Iran had been discovered covertly building uranium enrichment facilities twice. One was at Natanz, another near Qom.
A "senior (Obama) administration official" explained at that time why it was logical to conclude that the second secret facility was designed to produce enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon not for peaceful purposes.
Ayatollah Khamenei, who as Iran's supreme leader is commander in chief of the Iranian military, gave a speech on Feb. 8 to the commanders of the Iranian Air Force. In this speech, the ayatollah boasted about Iran's technical accomplishment in enriching uranium to the 20-percent level--which is beyond what is needed for peaceful power production.
During the speech in which he boasted about Iran's enrichment of uranium to the 20-percent level, according to a BBC transcript, the ayatollah's air force commanders chanted: "Allah Akbar. Khamenei is the leader. Death to the enemies of the leadership. Death to America. Death to England. Death to hypocrites. Death to Israel."

Liberals don't believe Ayatolla when he stated "Death to America," but can't wait for a nuclear deal with him.
You just can't make this stuff up. :rofl

North Korea makes threats to destroy America all the time, they are even crazier than Iran and they have nukes to boot. Iran having nukes wont plunge the world into an apocalypse so lets make peace with them and leave them alone. It seems we both agree that the Iranian leadership is almost child-like in their ignorance if they believe that this was anything but a joke, and not US policy. Because Chamberlain sent a multi national force into Germany after having made an agreement that they wouldn't build up their military in order to make certain that they were living up to their end of the bargain?Hence the term "Smart Diplomacy".
Somewhere, Lord Chamberlain is smiling, because he's no longer seen as the most naive politician in modern western history.

Except the Ayatollah didn't say that.
And the overwhelming majority of Iranians are pro America.
Polgara??? You don't know that he said that!!! Don't be scared of Iran.
Us and Israeli intelligence both have stated that Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapons program.
No they haven't.
