David Henry Sterry: Mexican Drug Lord Officially Thanks American Lawmakers for Keeping Drugs Illegal
Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera reported head of the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico, ranked 701st on Forbes' yearly report of the wealthiest men alive, and worth an estimated $1 billion, today officially thanked United States politicians for making sure that drugs remain illegal. According to one of his closest confidants, he said, "I couldn't have gotten so stinking rich without George Bush, George Bush Jr., Ronald Reagan, even El Presidente Obama, none of them have the cajones to stand up to all the big money that wants to keep this stuff illegal. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say, Gracias amigos, I owe my whole empire to you."

I think if the people he addressed answered secretly it would be something like "And thank you for supplying a long line of control for me in my regions."

It is a sad state of affairs when our Fed. Government, and drug dealers share the same agenda.. keeping drugs illegal and thereby keeping the destructive black market alive and kicking.

You know, the reason we can't win the War on Drugs is because the people want drugs.

But it's also the same reason we can't end the War on Drugs. The people want prohibition.

And it's not different people, or two loud vocal minorities. The people demanding stricter enforcement of drug laws are the same people who are smoking, snorting, or shooting every filthy chemical we're capable of importing from the Third World.

And that is the beauty of our awesome designed country. When it is working right you are supposed to the state that matches your core values. But when they all seem to bow to certain powers and all the states are the same except for fine amounts.... What is the point of having so many states when the feds can simply mute um.
