His idiotic X post, crowing "we got the shooter" hours after Kirk was gunned down, was the definition of jumping the gun. I doubt is possible on this fact pattern, but maybe a Trump appointee is incompetent enough to blab out enough details that the defendant cannot get a fair trial.

Not to mention, if Robinson is guilty (I mean he probably is) then the idiot is sabotaging the investigation by leaking it. How are they going to find an unbiased jury that will look at the facts, when the facts are already out there and everyone will have opinions of them that will be commented on online and on every newroom.
