Kari Lake is refusing to debate Mark Lamb in the GOP Arizona primary. As ffar as I am concerned that is the last nail in the coffin for Lake. What a coward.


"U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake has formally declined to participate in a debate with her Republican rival Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, leaving him with a solo question-and-answer appearance later this month.

Lake’s absence comes after she created controversy for herself with other sheriffs around the state when she referred to Lamb as a “total coward” in a forum that included both of them by video.

During her 2022 gubernatorial run, Lake also repeatedly referred to Democrat Katie Hobbs as a “coward” for refusing to debate her. Hobbs refused then, saying Lake only brought “chaos” to a debate after a Republican primary debate that drew criticism as disorganized.

Seriously, the farther you get into Biden's term the less the argument is feasible. Like, let's say some breaking news shows that Biden actually did steal the election in a hypothetical. What do you do then? Three years in, do you just … invalidate every last thing he's ever done -- including all of his key legislative achievements, including all of the Supreme Court cases (including the repeal of Roe v. Wade) that would not have hypothetically not been brought? What about the 2022 Congressional elections and any resolutions or laws passed over the President's vetos, etc. -- there's a certain point (probably within a year) that you just can't snap your your fingers and undo everything, even if there was cheating. So, you either deal with the plate that's in front of you, or look at the shiny display case that never gets served to you. That's basically the two options you have.

Kari Lake endorsed some dude for Maricopa County Recorder. I see his signs up around saying we need to secure our elections. But our elections are already secured, and I will not vote for him. I will vote for Stephen Richer in the GOP Primary. If her endorsed candidate makes it to the general election, then I will vote for the Dem candidate.

The sad news for me it is my district. At this point I can only hope there is a good alternative from either of those two and it does not have to be a GOP member.
