Amid various reports that Republican and Trump-affiliated political operatives are trying to get Kanye West onto various state ballots for November’s presidential election, the billionaire rap superstar indicated, in an interview by text today, that he was in fact running to siphon votes from the presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden.

West’s intentions have come under increased scrutiny this week, following reports by CNN, New York, the New York Times and others, about efforts by GOP political operatives to get him onto several ballots, including states like Wisconsin that could be pivotal in deciding the next president. West has been a vocal Trump supporter, including visiting the president in the Oval Office. Texts from West to me earlier this summer repeatedly ended with the sign-off “Trump 2020,” and a fist raised high.

However, he was reticent to criticize Trump besides that. “Trump is the closest president we’ve had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation,” he said.

And West was eager to criticize Biden, and expressed comfort with the idea of doing damage to the former vice president’s White House chances. “I’m not denying it; I just told you.”

Like Trump, they are both attention whores, even if it's negative attention. They are both egotistical media whores. They are both emotionally retarded and mentally ill. Anyone who votes for either of them needs to have their head examined too.
 
He's known to be a manic-depressive. Is this not a public medical diagnosis? (there may not have been an actual diagnosis made public due to confidentiality)

And since he is mentally ill, how is he qualified to run for POTUS?


This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

I notice that too, they want to turn back the clock, continue the lynchings, segregation, remove all the rights and freedoms from non-whites in the United States. They disgust me, as does their new white nationalist leader in the white house. Take out the trash in November and vote Democratic while we can still salvage our democracy.

He claims to be bi-polar. He's had several episodes on Twitter recently...which causes his wife to come to his defense on social media and backtrack half of what he says. They haven't been living together very much lately...she's in Calabasas and he's in Wyoming. So something's going on.

But one thing is for sure...he's not qualified to be president even if he was mentally stable. But that doesn't matter...the only reason he's running is to help Trump by taking black votes away from Biden. Kanye has a lot of fans that support him whatever he does...but he also has a lot of fans that care about him and want him to get help and then run in 2024. So at the end of day in trying to hurt Biden, he may just end up hurting himself more...both mentally and in popularity. But he's rich, so he'll survive.
 
Of course it's a spoiler: it's run by Trump people and it's only targeting swing states he's worried about narrowly losing. If they can get just enough kids to vote third party in a handful of districts Trump's counting on that denting Biden not him.

So they want to turn back the clock to remove all the rights and freedoms they actually voted for? Would that include all the way back to when Republicans freed the slaves?

I can respect the talent Kanye has even if I don’t care for the product he produces. His desire to keep Biden out of the White House would be more appreciated by me if it didn’t also increase the chances of Trump remaining in it.
