A birth certificate would be completely useless if it didn't reflect someone's actual, legal name. It's a document that certifies that someone was born. That's it. How would you even be able to find someone's birth certificate, if it didn't have the right name attached to it?Then the birth certificate is a lie and means nothing. You weren't born a Farmer even if you legally changed your name from Smith to Farmer. Birth certificates are meaningless as to reflecting the truth. At least at the time of birth which I always thought reflected all the pertenent information when one was born.
