Kamala Harris was not appointed as the "border czar"

She was assigned a piece of the immigration and border issue....NOTHING MORE.

She had no staff at the time and the Biden staff did not help her assemble one. One of these days Americans will understand that while Presidents and VP's have a great deal or power, they are basically without even rudimentary functionality without STAFF. How do you think Trump spent his terms mainly riding around on golf carts, filling in his scorecard before taking a shot and assigning himself as club champion by virtue of owning the golf clubs where he played.

oh lets see, she could have visited a LOT sooner than she did, seen what the issue was, reported back to Biden and asked to get together a commission in the administration to take care of it. Didn;t do ANY of that.

OR any number of things. She has plenty of power if the President approves of it.

Why would The administration ask her to take care of it if they did not have a way for her to do so?
 
I DOn't believe it for a minute... if she is that helpless and non self starting, she is not a good candidate for president.

There is no such thing as a perfect administration. There are only degrees of imperfection for which Donald Trump's administration is a good example of how imperfect it can actually get.

What we think doesn't matter. It's what Harris thought she could do, and she publicly declared that illegal migrants would be turned away at the border:

Border enforcement is with in the authority of the Executive branch. Did she and her team accomplish that?

they gave her the job to stem the tide of illegal immigration. they were aware of it.... after they saw their polling drop. She failed to do anything worthwhile.

But it really doesn't matter what you want her title to be, she failed in the role.
 
This is not going to stick as an issue. 2 reasons:
Trump blocked the immigration bill to save his campaign instead of seeking a solution. It's not just that he blocked it, it's that he refused to contribute.

2. Harris is running against trump.

I could care less what the national news media reports. They have gone entirely off the deep end and have been off the deep end since RATINGS and SUBSCRIPTIONS have become not only important to them but the only things they care about. You have seen enough of my posts to know this is not a newfangled opinion of mine. I started with laughing at the absurdity of current talking head Opinion and editorializing and based on how REPORTING is being done no longer have any confidence in REPORTING either.

And they're the candidates. It is valid to explain the motivation behind this issue. Trump wanted a campaign issue more than he wanted a solution.

Did Harris have authorization to change laws or policies?
