I really wish we could get centrist Liberals and Rightwing Conservatives to care as much about people being stripped of their freedom as they do about destruction of inanimate objects.

So do you think Trump not deploying the NG against the J6 protesters might have been because he didn't want to set up "a massive confrontation and altercation between officers and demonstrators"? I am curious how you thread the needle between two very similar scenarios and two very different responses from the same person.

I am old enough to remember many of these people serving significant jail sentences. Many of which were overcharged/sentenced.

I am also old enough to remember leftists complaining about so-called "whataboutisms".

Do you recall these things?

It's more about the "law and order" aspect of this, and the ones who wrote themselves out of this are the MAGAcolytes since they gleefully accepted the pardons of criminals who violently protested and were convicted for their violation of the law.

Others weren't though, and even the violent offenders were pardoned, which is something Vance and others were not in favor of. Now you can deflect and complain about whataboutisms, but what is very relevant here are the diametrically opposed reactions to two similar scenarios by the same person. So why is Trump so quick to deploy the NG in this instance, but not during the civil unrest on J6?

Trump OFFERED the National Guard to DC in advance of the incident. The offer was turned down by two rat retards...Pelosi and Bowser.

And then of course there is the fact that the J6 protesters stayed for a few hours and then peacefully left without setting the joint on fire...unlike your martyrs in LA.

In other words...you made a really really really stupid comparison thinking you would be zinging someone.....

I know this is difficult for you but that (J6) was an insurrection, and that has never happened before, the attack of an iconic government building during an official government Constitutional duty of Congress/Electoral College. The L.A. riots are just another protest used by criminals to criminally create havoc, and that has happened before, and many times, over the decades
