I said it before and I will say it again here:

When the Trump Administration ends, America will need a full-on truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg level trials to punish administration officials and officers for what they did.

It's unforgiveable. No decent person can defend what Trump is doing to this country. It's simply impossible.

The only hope is enough selfish Republicans in Congress don't want to see their life savings evaporate and they actually do something to help end Trump's presidency...but they certainly are not going to stop Trump for anything as "unimportant" as Trump being an immoral asshole.

That is the worst thing. If Republicans turn against Trump, it will be for tanking the economy. Not for the naked lawlessness or the authoritarianism.
 
I heard about the deportation of a US citizen child on MSNBC and I came on-line here to see what had been been posted about it. There is nothing anyone can say to defend the deportation of American citizens.

Even if the mother wants to take the child with her out of the country, there still has to be a process.

If anybody is against that, then that means they want a lawless country and they want Trump to "win" at any cost.....which is what most sick, radicalized MAGA voters want, unfortunately.

America isn't what it used to be. It's not the example for the rest of the world of what society can be, of how people can live and prosper in an egalitarian society.

Meals-on-Wheels has been ended. I didn't know that until tonight. I know some DP members that use it and need it. How can the executive branch have done that on its own?

If Republicans turn against Trump it will be because they think that’s the only way they will be reelected. They couldn’t care less about Trump, they only worry about their own jobs.
 
This will be a tough one for our local MAGA. If the family concludes that the child should remain in the United States, then our forum MAGA, fresh off the presumably sexual high of a 2 year old brown skinned girl being deported, will have to figure out how to defend Donald's resistance to her return. Worse, when Donald finally is forced to relent, they will have to do the 5D chess thing.

You are absolutely right. It is shameful. Now I have to cheer as Trump makes the stock market crash so that we can keep the rule of law and the FDA and the CDC and continue to vaccinate children against measles.
 
You folks ought to at least read the story before you go outrage city. The mother was being deported and wanted to take her daughter with her.

What solutions are there to that situation? Before you say cancel the deportation, that isn't the current law.

There was no court hearing is the problem.
