John Kasich, Times endorsement in hand, marches on

But there are noble causes nonetheless.

 Sure. That doesn't make them wise. It would be "noble" of every single individual who thought they could do a good job of being President to run, you could argue that it was "noble" of every single candidate to refuse to bow out. that does not make it more likely that you will achieve your goals.

Sometimes the Noble thing to do is accede.

We shall see.

Nah...the GOP should stick with Cruz and Trump...or Trump and Cruz. And get Sarah Palin more into the mix somehow.

John Kasich would be a horrible choice.

Yeah a horrible choice to you means a guy who can keep a lying POS like Hillary or a goofy nutcase like Bernie to of office:mrgreen:

Kasich would win. I am sure of it.

Custer actually had no idea (until it was too late) of the odds he was facing. He ignored both his orders and the warnings of his scouts. Theoden, on the other hand, was fulfilling an oath and knew precisely the depth of the danger. He and Custer have nothing in common.

Yes, Custer actually existed. Therefore, they have nothing in common.

Both exist in the universe of political analogies.

Since this is Super Bowl week...

...does everyone know the connection between the NFL...and George Armstrong Custer?

It has to do with this...the Garry Owen March.

I want the GOP to put its best foot forward.

Me too, unfortunately, the GOP is their own worst enemy.

Oh, goodness...I cannot get over that any Republican could ever even consider Kasich. He would be the worst choice of the entire crowd.

Sarcasm?!?...I hope so, I know you haven't forgotten Christie. ;)

More sarcasm???.......or maybe you just don't care for Kasich.

To each his own...I'm considering Kasich more and more as time goes by, and not surprisingly so are many others, considering our alternate choices. He just took second in NH, and we'll see how he does in SC....

I like Trump in some ways, but hate him in others.

Sarah should stay home and make sure the cookie dough is well mixed.

P.S. Custer also left his 4 Gatling Guns back at the main camp. Not to mention he was second to last in his West point Class. Luck and arrogance got him thru the Civil War, but his luck ran out @ LBH.

I don't think it is exactly sarcasm. He wants the GOP to loose so he wants Trump or Cruz to win. He's afraid Kasich might make it a contest.
