She holds the 3rd district (of 7 US House districts) so you can't blame "a large portion" of Colorado.

It may have something to do with redistricting, but the 3rd does seem to swing unusually far party-to-party:

By huge, I meant it covers a large, diverse part of Colorado. The western slope, ski towns, and Pueblo. I realize congressional districts are split by population. I've already been admonished in the thread and admitted defeat.

A little more information never hurts. Before I looked it up, I had sort of hoped the 3rd district would dump Boebert. The combination of a favorable redistrict, and the midterm advantage, makes that very unlikely.

There's another reason this story about litter boxes for kids who identify as "furries" kicked off - Back in October, NBC News reported that there is some truth to the idea of litter boxes being used in schools, but it has nothing to do with identity or sexuality at all. Instead, it is just another indicator of how our society is facing more and more lies as school districts preparing for lockdowns are accused of accommodating weird kids.

 

Sounds like the first "source" for the story might have been school kids teasing each other about needing the bucket.
 
I didn't think about the lockdown angle of it. I try not to, as people who I care about are in schools regularly.
 

Well, that freak Don Bolduc, who is running for Senate here in NH, repeated that stupid, ignorant lie to a bunch of drooling retarded NH Republicans, and you know how many of them actually believed it?

I have a casual friend in my neighborhood. I've known her for years and we both volunteered on a few Republican campaigns together. I saw her over the weekend, and she told me she couldn't believe I was voting for Hassan because Hassan encourages having litterboxes in classrooms.

I had to walk away, shake my head, and feel very sorry for her kids for having a mother who is dangerously stupid.

Sorry, didn't see this before I posted about Bolduc. Yes, he said it. Yes, the crowd went wild. Yes, the lowest common denominator of NH Republicans actually believe him.
