If I remember correctly, Mr. Nadler had a health scare some months past, and President Trump called to wish him well.
After Mr. Nadler et al. send the impeachment papers to the Senate, I would not be surprised if the Honorable Member from the great state of New York announces his retirement.

It's pretty clear Nadler slept through constitutional law, so sleeping in a House hearing he himself couched in constitutional law isn't a surprise.
