Silly little cult.
One of God Jehovah's chosen 144,000 falls in disgrace from what appears to be a serious alcohol abuse addiction. Evidently was slurring his speech while preaching, and was shining a bad light upon the JW Organization. 👇

"According to Jehovah's Witnesses member and writer Jason Wynne, some of the speculation includes allegations of alcohol abuse, alleged implications in the Pennsylvania Grand Jury investigation into child abuse within Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Morris III’s possible public disagreement with another governing body member about “ecclesiastical matters relating to prophecy."

Wow. Morris blotted out of the book of life

Goodbye Anthony Morris III

The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses have never been individuals to hide their contempt for critics of their religious group. Anthony Morris III is no different. On one occasion, after reading Psalm 37:20, he lit a match, blew it out and as the smoke dissipated he said, “that’s Jehovah’s enemies; they are going to vanish like smoke”.

When a man reveals his true nature, and that nature is not an endearing one, there is a certain sense of irony that his own public appearance as a leader of his beloved organization has vanished like smoke in just one brief announcement.

Major shake-up in the Jehovah Witnesses Governing Board. Appears Mr. Morris was not "in harmony" with the other seven JW Governing Board Members.
What? Do you mean not all JWs are on the same page regarding their religious nonsense? Say it ain't so. 😉

The level of speculation is already pretty high, but no matter the reason we can already conclude the organization of JW is designed for people like Anthony Morris III to run their mouths about all sorts of subjects to usually terrible conclusions.

Perhaps other major religions can take some notes.

At least the JWs tossed him -

Not only "all JWs", but a practicing Jehovah Witness/writer in the linked article stated Morris and 'at least' one other JW Governing Board member are in disagreement regarding JW "ecclesiastical matters relating to prophecy." 'Maybe' Morris and Stephen Lett had a bit of a disagreement. - So, yes. Clearly not all JWs are "in harmony" regarding matters of JW religious dogma/preaching/teachings.

Seems the spirits that spoke to him were 80 proof. Like Ethanol

Life (and human beings!) is horrible.

So if the Witnesses get some comfort by believing in what they believe, then more power to them.

Their ideas are no weirder than the other religions in this world.

I doubt a rational mind could find "harmony" with JW BS.

You don't think it is "weird" that an entire religious group's parents would let their minor children ( who have no say in the matter ) die needlessly, by refusing to allow that child to receive a life-saving blood transfusion, without even taking the minor dying child's wishes to live into consideration?

I think it's abhorrent and just plain stupid.

That is quite a weak defense of religion in general. People who followed Jim Jones were comforted up until the point that they weren’t. That is the inherent danger of all religions.

It's not so much that they believe, no matter how ridiculous it is. It's when they try to push their belief onto others that's the problem.

That they believe what?

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God.

In all fairness, don't all religions push their beliefs?

Of course, I will NOT mention their names, but aren't there certain religions that will even KILL you if you do not accept their beliefs?

Hear tell that a "certain" religion will even push one off a mountain top if one is gay.

And didn't Christians use to burn people at the stake?

So if Witnesses come to one's home, just tell them "I'm not interested," and they will leave.

Oh, just remembered: American movies were censored from the 1930s to the 1950s because a certain powerful Christian denomination felt that it could decide what was moral and what wasn't! Witnesses have never had that power.

Nor do we want it...we are searching for those who desire to learn more about the Bible...we force no one...
But Jehovah Witness parents do have the power, and will, and have used that power, to refuse to allow their minor children to receive lifesaving blood transfusions, even when doing so will result in the death of the minor child. Indeed, it is a 'fact' minor Jehovah Witness minor children who could have lived, died because those children's JW parents would not allow the sick child to receive a lifesaving blood transfusion. Correct?

so does this mean that, if his kids are in a car wreck and need a blood transfusion to live and eventually get married and have kids, etc) that he'll let them now?
