Nazism, KKK , White Supremacist groups, Homophobic and Transphobic religious extremist groups are a okay and protected under first amendment in the eyes of these sick freaks on the far right.

Anything left of Hitler, Mussolini, Trump, The GOP, Christian Nationalism is terrorism.

Totally not a fascist far right extremist government infested with scumbags top down hell bent on making everyone bend the knee to extremist far right lunatic politics.

They can mock Paul Pelosi, come up with conspiracy theories galore after a Dem polician and her husband are murdered, as well demonize trans people, immigrants and anyone left of their far right extremist world view, but if you're not sad about Kirk dying you're a terrorist who will be gone after.

They fantasize about killing protestors left and right, the homeless etc, but not broken up over Kirk and pointing out how he was a hate monger and a genuine piece of shit, that's not allowed.

They can also down play Jan 6th and their coup attempt, but mock a far right extremist after he dies, that's a no no and you deserve to be prosecuted and labeled a terrorist.

The GOP, the party of hate, pedophilia protection, corruption, bigotry and fascism.

They want conformity and a one party state.

Don't call the far right what it is, because that is inflammatory.

Stating your religious beliefs is, in fact protected speech.

While I oppose the Trump administration's signal that they might be going after people for speech (the SCOTUS will shoot down any such attempt to silence speech) it is kind of fun to see the left finally see the perils in their long standing desire to police "hate speech" now that the opposition signaled that they will start doing it too.

Proof #3,217 of my ongoing argument that you should never seek power for your own party that you wouldn't trust in the hands of the opposition, because it will always end up coming back to haunt you.

On the contrary, a Trump crackdown against the far left would be a blessing for progressives and liberals. We should work to provoke such a move at the earliest possible opportunity.

You're going to be very disappointed since many of the more influential right wing pundits (including Charlie Kirk) are firmly against the Trump administration's proposed policing of left wing hate speech.

They will win out.

Yeah, targeting 'hate speech' is a left wing thing. They support it because they dont believe anything they say or do is hateful. But the Trump people should resist jumping on that bandwagon
 
It's so on the nose that they are trying to use this shooting as their Reichstag fire to go after "the Left" when this was an instance of a far right groyper going after a right wing Nazi for not being Nazi enough.

Anything to avoid tackling real problems and instead manufacture new ones.

Charlie Kirk literally called for Mehdi Hasan to be deported over his covid views during a debate in 2023 and had a professor watch list of targets who he deemed persecutors of conservatives.

The idea that he stood for free speech is a disingenuous, bad faith lie, as is pretty much everything the right wing claims stand for.

If you actually stood for free speech you wouldn't be a supporter of this administration.

I've often said that the biggest fault in Trump, and a Trump administration, is that they campaign and govern like Democrats. It's like they are fairly new to the whole Constitution thing and need to be lead by hand at times to avoid their more Democrat-like instincts.

Kirk was trying to tackle real problems as he saw them. The left offers nothing but orange man bad.
 
I predict that more Republican politicians and hate sellers will be assassinated. Probably some Democrats and ordinary people too.

I don't want it to happen, it should never happen but the fire keeps getting stirred and is now flaming and will get way, way worse (for $$$$ and power).

Plus, with what Republicans are doing to poor people they will become helpless and hopeless and with the Republican economic policy that is causing an economic downturn even people who aren't poor are going to lose everything. They will also become desperate.

Horrible, horrible stuff is still to come. You may even see family members at each other's throats physically.

None of this had to happen. We could have voted for sanity.

Kirk was a celebrity influencer that earned his living, in part, by going around college campuses and handing college kids a microphone for 2 minutes while rebutting their often repetitive and inexperienced “debate” with his often canned rebuttals.

He wasn’t tackling any “problems”. He was earning a paycheck for himself and his family.

The US loves celebrities.

We even elect them.
 
Well Trump was a New York democrat for the first 70 years of his life. And I think his complete embrace of the right was the result of the left doing everything in their power to destroy him, his business and his family.

Do you have the full context on that? Not saying it didn't happen, but all that I can find online in Mehdi Hassan's retelling of the event.
