a fitting end to the Pariahs Jesse Jackson and his family. Now all they need do is bring out all that Dirt on the OLD MAN. Looks like the State of Illinois can finally get rid of these guys. Looks like they will be moving up to D.C> where their kids go to school.

CHICAGO (AP) — The wife of former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. announced Friday that she was resigning from the Chicago City Council, saying she could not adequately represent her district while dealing with "very painful health matters."

Alderman Sandi Jackson, whose husband recently resigned from Congress while being treated for bipolar disorder and other medical issues, said in a letter to Mayor Rahm Emanuel that her resignation would be effective Tuesday.

"I am unapologetically a wife and a mother and I cannot deny my commitment to those most important personal responsibilities," she wrote. Aside from citing health matters, she did not elaborate.

Sandi Jackson has worked with the Democratic Party for nearly two decades, including as the Democratic National Committee's deputy director of training. She also worked for Bill Clinton's and Michael Dukakis' presidential campaigns.

When reached for comment, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said he did not know anything about his daughter-in-law's resignation and declined comment.....snip~

Some have it rumoured that Emanuel will give her a job now that she has resigned form that City Council. Course there is all that other news about misuse of Campaign funds and all. Fixing up their house in D.C. Now does any really think Junior was having those repairs and modifications done to that house?

Plus Junior was paying her 4000k a month to Advise him. Btw those painful health matters are not her own but that of Bipolar hubby, Junio.

This is good news as these Icons of the Democratic Party now all get to go down with the black marks on their records. Sandy is a crook just like Junior and Jesse himself is. This can only help the Democratic Party. Now if they can just get rid of the other 30 or so in the City and we would really be on a roll.

The bad news is Emanuel also gets to just pick her replacement. Course now those in D.C. will have to worry when they try and run for Office there.
