Trump's one hundred or one hundred and fifty 'passionate' supporters won't stand for it. You tell em' donald.Did you get that QAnon? More code being sent out there because DJT is finally facing justice long overdue.

Lock him up.Detaining him may cause more violence than letting him shoot off his treasonous mouth.
In a sense, no matter what, violence is going to happen due to indictments and trials. The longer he and his nutjobs are mouthing codes out into the public, the higher increased planning for violence that takes place. imoDetaining him may cause more violence than letting him shoot off his treasonous mouth.
Not too hard at all. It’s hard to accept ‘if you do [unspecified] then we’ll do [unspecified]’ (referred to as “hints about fomenting violence” in the OP link) as being a credible (dangerous?) threat.
She should indeed but I'll not hold my breath. Help me to remember if you can, but didn't Jack Smith already ask Judge Cannon to have a talk with DJT about this stuff? The Judge needs to call him in and admonish him.
This is the same Trump appointed judge...She should indeed but I'll not hold my breath. Help me to remember if you can, but didn't Jack Smith already ask Judge Cannon to have a talk with DJT about this stuff?
“Cause” isn’t really the correct word for what I think you mean.Detaining him may cause more violence than letting him shoot off his treasonous mouth.

“When messaging reaches a certain pitch, things start to happen in the real world,” said former New Jersey Attorney General John Farmer, a onetime federal prosecutor who now directs the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. “And when people in positions of power and public trust start to echo extremist rhetoric, it’s even more likely that we’re going to see real-world consequences.”Trump's Angry Words Spur Warnings of Real Violence
Federal authorities and experts who study online extremism are warning of a risk of additional attacks on federal law enforcement following the FBI’s search of ex-President Donald Trump’s Florida home.www.nbcnewyork.com
Amplified by right-wing media, angry claims by Trump and his allies about the search are fanning the flames of his supporters' distrust of the FBI — though it's led by a Trump appointee — and the federal government in general. And at least a few of Trump's supporters now appear to be acting on his anger.
Last week a man wearing body armor and armed with an assault rifle and a nail gun tried to breach the FBI's Cincinnati office. He was later shot and killed by police after exchanging fire with officers. Authorities say they believe the man had posted dark messages on Truth Social, Trump's online platform, including one that said federal agents should be killed on sight.
Explain why the democrats brought in Jack Smith? A seldom successful prosecutor who has had numerous case decisions overturned for violating the law, with-holding evidence and lying to the court. Wasn't there a good prosecutor in the country? Or did they just need a guy who has no regard for the law but will do whatever he is told by the Biden administration?Mr Kirschner is absolutely correct!! All of DJT's coded dog whistles are reaching millions of ears out there who are more than likely planning violent actions Anywhere, USA. These folks are no stranger to domestic terrorism, in which the J6 assault proved it. DJT the scandalous cult leader must be officially contained until tried. imo
According to legal expert Glenn Kirschner, there is a solid history of locking up defendants when they are considered a threat to the community, and that Trump's latest hints about fomenting violence constitute a reasonable reason for special counsel Jack Smith to take him out of public circulationJack Smith urged to 'detain Trump pending trial' after new threats of violence
During an appearance on Dean Obeidallah's SiriusXM show, a former federal prosecutor laid out a compelling case to take Donald Trump into custody and hold him until his case comes to trial.According to legal expert Glenn Kirschner, there is a solid history of locking up defendants when they are...www.rawstory.com
"Donald Trump should be detained pending trial," the former prosecutor replied. "And I say that not from my own personal preference or animosity, I have for the man."
"I say it because the law provides that when there is clear and convincing evidence that a defendant pending trial presents a danger to the community he is supposed to be detained, or she is supposed to be detained pending trial, that's the law" he explained. "Everyone has ignored that when it comes to Donald Trump."
You appear to confuse my deep concern about the safety of good citizens of our nation for "desperation". There's been plenty of DJT's public mouthing/threats in code that should no longer be tolerated post 1/6/21 and during existing and anticipated indictments. Anyone who views DJT as a harmless innocent blowhard should revisit their own misguided judgement.Your desperation seems to have reached a new level. Are you seriously trying to justify Trump’s pre-trial detention based on some NBC article from August 16, 2022?
AgreedIf Trump were anyone else, he would likely be detained right now.
A former president hasn't created problems for our democracy and national security like DJT has. DJT's dangerous rhetoric is a bad look for our country. However, he is a previous president and locking up your previous president, even when they are a criminal like Trump, is never a good look for a country.
AG Garland asked Jack Smith to take on these cases for the DOJ.Explain why the democrats brought in Jack Smith?
If Jack Smith were what you described, why would the AG risk bringing in such a bad prosecutor on such high-profile cases?A seldom successful prosecutor who has had numerous case decisions overturned for violating the law, with-holding evidence and lying to the court. Wasn't there a good prosecutor in the country? Or did they just need a guy who has no regard for the law but will do whatever he is told by the Biden administration?

Getting with the program is very helpful.Your need to resort to (alleged) “threats in code” seems to indicate your desperation.
In politics there's all sorts of political calculations and strategies to get one's party favored guy into office. Personally, I believe it's a big mistake to support the idea that Pres Biden could beat DJT in 2024. Far too much could go wrong that plops DJT's ass back into the oval office. However, the concern here in this thread is the ongoing dangerous rhetoric that keeps flowing out of DJT's big mouth and it's just not to hear himself sound tough. He knows he's got enough idiots out there to attempt violence on their political targets and government agents, etc. J6 is the perfect example!!Perhaps, the goal is simply to help assure that Trump becomes the republicant 2024 POTUS nominee. After all, Joe “Where am I?” Biden beat him in 2020.

Lets consider something here. If DJT is innocent as he claims, why wouldn't he and his power attorneys not ask for a speedy trial, within reason of course, so that DJT could prove his innocence? Why wouldn't DJT, when spouting all sorts of crap in public or posting same same crap on social media declare his innocence and let his followers know that he'll prove his innocence in court - and leave at that? Many other high profiled figure heads pretty much say this or simply say that their lawyers have instructed them not to talk about the case while I'm pretty sure that they have also instructed their clients to not make stupid threats against officials and possibly their families as well. If innocent, let a court trial determine that and let the public know that one, such as DJT, is anxious for that to happen.
Not for normal people. It’s hard to accept ‘if you do [unspecified] then we’ll do [unspecified]’ (referred to as “hints about fomenting violence” in the OP link) as being a credible (dangerous?) threat.
