Israeli military’s own data indicates civilian death rate of 83% in Gaza war

Figures from a classified Israeli military intelligence database indicate five out of six Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza have been civilians, an extreme rate of slaughter rarely matched in recent decades of warfare.

As of May, 19 months into the war, Israeli intelligence officials listed 8,900 named fighters from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad as dead or “probably dead”, a joint investigation by the Guardian, the Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine and the Hebrew-language outlet Local Call has found.

And when we consider that the Palestinian figures themselves will be a massive under count due to all of the bodies currently still in mass graves and/or exploded building rubble that are not included that percentage of civilian deaths rises even more.

And unlike other conflicts where civilians can flee combat zones, the population is sealed in in Gaza; no escape to Egypt, no escape to Jordan, no escape to anywhere. To call it hell is not an overstatement

And not only that Israel took military control of the Philadelphi Corridor, in violation of the Camp David Accords of 1978, so now fully seals in the Gazan population by itself.

The plan is/was to force Egypt into accepting the Gazan population and thus massively reducing/clearing entirely the population there.
