A report recently leaked called the Israel Project 2009 reveals a great many ways the government of that nation crafts its messages to maintain support among the American population for its handling of conflict with the Palestinians. I do not believe that language needs to be crafted for the American people. Instead, openness, with a free flow of information should be maintain at all levels so that the American people can make their own choices in this regard. Currently, the American people are not getting that. Living overseas on this stretch for the last two years, I see so much more abroad about the carnage taking place in the latest offensive than our people see at home. Information is being suppressed in favor of one side at the expense of so many innocent lives. For peace to manifest, we need a change in what we are doing. Continuing the same for another 50 years will only escalate the horror to even higher levels, with thousands of more people being killed.

I am not sure how discussing the contents of a document that counters the free flow of thought and information would require Martial Law, unless measures are being taken to simply suppress discussion that anything at all is going on other than that people are going to the beach, eating at restaurants, and walking in the park as usual.

Nonsense. You don't understand the west's media. They are all out to get the story first, whatever it is. They don't care what it is. There is a free flow of information by people in different locations, at different times, with different sources. We get it ALL. Sure, there are some with an agenda (like that link you posted). But there is information everywhere we turn. It's impossible not to get all public information about just about anything.

Are some things hidden by governments? You betcha. And some things should be. Are some things hidden by Hama and other terrorist groups? That's part and parcel of being a terrorist: secrecy.

There is no freedom of speech and freedom of information in a terrorist group or in some countries. But here in the states, it's part of who we are. Example: this forum.

The headline is dramatic hyperbole, it's a glorified PR booklet and talking points memorandum. Despite the authors protestations that people "need to pay attention to this" the reason it hasn't garnered much attention is because it's so boring. Anyone who doubts that there is a sophisticated marketing and public relations effort conducted at all levels isn't paying an iota of attention. That being said it isn't an indication of anything particularly nefarious it's standard operating procedure for every country or organization with an agenda which is to say... everyone. Without this conflict and the thirst to capitalize on it for clickbait I doubt this would have made it past the editor.
