ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

If true, we need to be very concerned about this.

:lamo :lamo
Im guessing this is gonna turn out exactly like those "prayer rugs" they found on the border.

Yeah, its hilarious that Mexican authorities are claiming there is an ISIS outpost inside drug-cartel controlled lands just outside of a major US city, and that there may be others.

lolz n stuff.

I'm interested to see what they say about this tonight on Spanish language news shows, often they report much more than what you hear on US stations.

I'm not that concerned. if there are true ISIS camps this close to home, we'll just crush them. I find it unlikely that any camp that could actually pose a threat would be easily discovered. I could be wrong but I'm not going to get hysterical over this.

I have to wonder why Mexico is never seen as that big of a threat. Got multi billionaire drugs lords next door with a military trained armies to back them up? **** it just focus on the poor people who crosses the river to feed their family by providing cheap labor. They are the real enemy.

We likely have a solution for any ISIS activity in Mexico. If someone from Mexico
reports strange activity, that is validated as ISIS, they can choose a cash reward,
or they and they family can receive permanent residency status.

Ever been to the US/Mexican border before?

Especially ciudad Juarez where this is claimed to be near by. That is one ****ed up town. Although crime has steadily been decreasing you wouldn't catch me there.

Yea. How bout you?

Isnt this coming from the same outlet that reported "prayer rugs" were found? But in fact they were not prayer rugs? Is this the same group that stated that 4 members of ISIS were arrested on the border, which also turned out to be false? Quite the reliable source you have there, but then again all their accusations are backed up by unnamed and unverified anonymous sources... So yes I am going to laugh at this pathetic report that is yet again going to turn out to be a heaping pile of bull****.

If I spoke Spanish I'd check it out, still there are entire regions that the media will not operate in, due to the cartel control there.

How exactly would we "just crush them"? The Mexican military can't even get into some of these areas, do you think our military is going to go across? Spec ops?

The border is so porous that women and children can walk across-what exactly would be difficult for ISIS terrorists? Its not like terrorists haven't targeted military bases before, and then there is a threat to soft targets-like civilians.

Wouldnt catch me there either. Most likely wouldnt catch ISIS there as well.

Oh now, it's no crisis.

First, create jobs for them. Those who don't want to work there get amnesty. Then of course they will be so grateful they will love America enough to take flying lessons

To the places where you can walk across the border? [without a bridge] I've actually done it in several places.

Like this Sheriff is describing.

I dunno, maybe we blow them up with our rockets and guns and tanks and ****. if this becomes a legitimate threat that needs to be addressed I don't think it will be very difficult for America's military to take care of it.

Well to an extent both the cartels and the military have made it a point not to get involved where it would threaten the US or places where tourists travel widely. Doing so would be an all around bad deal for both the military-which would have to greatly increase its military response while losing a huge source of income-both from tourism, and from less illegal immigration (last I read, money sent back to mexico from the US is its major source of income). Likewise the greater border security would make it much more difficult for cartels to infiltrate the US, which is bad for business.

Cartels allowing terror groups to operate would be a game changer, the Cartels must really be getting something significant in return to take risks like this.

shoot I'd be surprised if there weren't a few posses forming in texas RIGHT NOW to go kill these bitches.

Its a surreal city (really one city on two sides of the border), you can be on a major US highway that traverses the Rio Grand, and see right across into the slums. Its a striking contrast.

While you patrol the Canadian border with military grade hardware and strip search elderly women. I know of a man turned away and put on a no entry list because of 30 year marijuana possession.

We abound with stories of harassment, especially against Indian Sikhs and yet 500,000 people of various criminal pasts who get offered amnesty but no way can any Maple Syrup be allowed into the country.

It's actually humorous

Two mexican officials are making this statement, and how can you verify whats happening in a cartel stronghold?

Ah. SOMEbody said it's happening, and there's ZERO proof presented that it's happening other than what is by definition hearsay...and you eat it up like it's candy.

And that's why I left the Right so long ago - they're too eager to listen to rumor and assumption, as long as the rumor and assumption is in accordance with what that already believe.

We have openly porous borders, so much so that a journalist dressed like Osama bin laden was able to walk across.

So clearly, its impossible that there could be a terrorist presence on the border.

Thats not realistic-whats much more likely is a surprise bombing or attack of the bases security perimeter. Do you think there are tanks and rockets guarding the base? Do you think they would fire into the surrounding areas? Do you think they would cross the border, like the Pancho Villa expeditions?
