Is Trump psychopathic?

Been wondering about this for awhile. I first started thinking about his complete lack of humour, his narcissism, his lack of empathy, and wonder if he checks any other boxes.
Bear in mind, psychopathic doesn't mean psychotic, and psychopaths aren't necessarily violent. Psychopathy can, in fact, be an advantage in some situations and occupations.
Any thoughts?
 
his supporters are the ones with mental issues...................mostly a weak constitution & character
 
I'm not qualified to judge his mental issues, but I can say he is a despicable excuse for a human being.
 

Throw narcissism in there. Yes. He certainly acts like it.
 
He is a fecal jackass. And those who see threads like this and whine about how we talk about him are insecure toadies.

Yeah, I mentioned narcissism. Lack of humour, lack of empathy,

...and his insistence on absolute loyalty seems psychopathic.
And then there's his strange idea that his lies will automatically be believed, just because people won't question him. He said, three times at least for example, that his father had been born in Germany. And that's just one example of him expecting that anything he says will be believed. There's lots more.
Psychopaths often believe too that they can get by on charisma, that substance is less important than presenting a persona to the people they're working.

Lots of boxes ticked there.
I'm reading a book called The Wisdom of Psychopaths by Dr. Kevin Dutton of St. Edmunds College, Cambridge University. Early going, but I'm thinking of scooting ahead to find something about how psychopaths, non-violent ones, typically react to being backed into corners, having to improvise in the face of the failure of policy.
 
This, and in his case criminality is included.
 
I tend to think narcissistic- but probably not psychopathic.

A person displaying psychopathy lacks empathy, shame, and remorse, which leads them to consistently violate the rights and well-being of others. They may lie, cheat, or steal to get their way.

Logically speaking, Trump cannot possibly be a psychopath. The only reason he decided to run for president is because he has the highest regards for right and wrong. In 1988, Oprah Winfrey asked Trump (who was a guest on her talk-show) if someday he might consider running for president. His response:

"If it [the country] ever got so bad, I wouldn't want to rule it out totally."

If Trump had no regard for right and wrong, then he would not have willingly faced the scrutiny, grief and heartache of going through the presidential nomination/election process. His entire 2016 campaign was based on the fact that the U.S. has been carrying the water for the rest of the world - being the world's policeman. It's WRONG for the world to demand it, and Trump knew it:

"We [the US] cannot be the policemen of the world." - Donald Trump (during 2016 Presidential debates)

Barack Obama agreed:
"America is not the world's policeman. Terrible things happen across the globe, and it is beyond our means to right every wrong." - Barack Obama
 

I do not think so. I think he is a narcissistic megalomaniac. But not a psychopath.

Lack of empathy? Lack of humour? Childish liar? Depends on his self-perceived 'charisma'? I dunno, but I think it's strongly possible.

Does it matter? If he is, he'll never get treated for it. And even if we could 100% know for sure that he was a psychopath, it wouldn't prevent him from being foisted on us. He's here, there's no putting the toothpaste back in that tube.

So...it really does not matter. Maybe he is. He's ****ed up, anyway, psychopathic or not. And yet...half of Americans voted him in so here we are.
 
He wanted power. It has nothing to do with his regard for right or wrong, at least not as it applies to anyone outside himself.
 
He knows how to read a crowd by taping into people's fear and insecurities and promising things that will do nothing for them. He's an aggressive form of cancer.

Absolutely

Psychopathic?
Up to a doctor to make that diagnosis via examination, not a bunch of guys on a message board.

That is not true. Certainly Trump makes mistakes in judgement every day, but they are not "deliberately" wrong. This is nonsense based on an irrational hatred of someone whom you disagree with.

Sociopath is more apt. Psychopaths are born, and sociopaths are created.

I tend to think of Trump as a narcissistic sociopath.

Traitor Trump lies many times every single day. By definition, lies are intentional.

Traitor Trump, every day, unprovoked and unwarranted, spews vitriol directed at any and everyone he feels threatens or embarrasses him in any way.

Traitor Trump constantly debases the office he occupies and violates his oath to that office.

Then there are the many illegal actions he has committed before, during, after, and again during his terms as President.
