1.)In the OP, the black individual is unable to change society's higher level of racism.
2.) Any white affected is free to move away and not be bothered.
3.) Blacks, of course, cannot move away from unjust discrimination.
4.) A black cannot create nor perpetuate a society-wide system of unjust discrimination and privilege.
5.) That's why a black cannot be racist.
6.)We should not equate the socially insignificant act of a single business owner with oppression felt every single day of ones life no matter where one goes; doing so is intellectually disgusting and pathetic.
You can take the quotes off. There's no doubt, in any professor's mind, that I'm an intellectual of considerable caliber.
You can take the quotes off. There's no doubt, in any professor's mind, that I'm an intellectual of considerable caliber. For example, a consideration of the social aspects of a social construct appears beyond your grasp.
You want to define a social construct by an individual act, that's downright dumb.

The two are not equal, but they ARE both racism. In the OP, the black individual is unable to change society's higher level of racism. Any white affected is free to move away and not be bothered. I'm ignoring the social aspects because they do not apply to individual actions.Racism is a social construct, not an individual action. Racial bigotry is an individual action. Racism (through racial bigotry) can only be practiced by the majority power.
Calling bigotry by a a minority racism ignores all of the social aspects of a social construct. That is, in fact, inferior thinking.

But yet, the dictionary disagrees with you. So which is right: you or the dictionary? If someone uses a word in a way that the dictionary d eems correct, how can you say they're wrong?
The dictionary does not disagree. You have just failed to read the entire definition.
We've been over this: that's not how dictionaries work. And you know that. When you have to pretend to not understand simple concepts like that to continue your argument....well, that should raise some red flags for you.
Seriously, you have to pretend to not understand how dictionaries work. Shouldn't that be a sign for you?
The dictionary disagrees with your insistence that racial bigotry cannot be called racism. The dictionary does not disagree. You have just failed to read the entire definition.
If racism was the same thing as racial bigotry, then the definition would just be racial bigotry. But it's not the same thing, that's obvious.

It is this type of arguement that is used to excuse racism by a group of people.
Includes but does not require. No, it does not. The definition includes a "system".
Includes but does not require.
The word "racism" can mean racial bigotry and/or a social construct. If you understand that racism is a social construct, and not just racial bigotry, then it is required.
Every sociology department in the country will tell you the same. But I guess they're all wrong and a partial dictionary definition is sufficient.
The word "racism" can mean racial bigotry and/or a social construct.
Please expand the acronym.False, it's an ISM.
Please expand the acronym.
It is this type of arguement that is used to excuse racism by a group of people. It's dishonest and far more inferior. It does not matter who is in power or who can affect more changes. Racism is racism period.
No, it does not. The definition includes a "system".
BS. No one is excusing anything.
