NOTHING he said implied ANYTHING, only you implied it. I can see you can't own up to your own comments. NOTHING he said mentioned ANYTHING about whites, only YOU did. And seeing your previous comment I quoted you on it is clear you make racist comments.

I see, it exists but there's no way to quantify it, or prove it's existence. Sounds like your typical modern liberal assertion. It exists because we said so.

Depends on where you are, but yes. There's a suburb of Buffalo (which I won't name) where "Driving While Black" is almost certainly a crime.

Hmmm. Well, there are large portions of Los Angeles where "Driving While White" is deadly.

Actually, its existence has been quantified and proven by extensive research. Whenever your ready to learn more, google is a good place to start looking for information.

Where the hell is this white privilege? I have been a cracker all my life and so far the only thing I have gotten for it was a tan.

The police in this town are notorious for pulling over more black drivers than white drivers. Which might make sense if there were that many more black people living there, but the village is very predominantly white.

Do the cops pull you over? Or is this typical "I'm so persecuted" stuff?

LOL. That's it, the I'm so persecuted stuff. No, I'm referring to death by those who don't like whites in their neighborhood. The police are only there afterwards to direct the coroner.

I'd suggest this white privilege stuff is the pinnacle of the "I'm so persecuted stuff" contained in the liberal/progressive playbook, so let's get real.

Let's call it the "vote for us" meme that suggests "we can help you", without having to admit little has been done with those promises. Oh, other than inviting illegal aliens into those neighborhoods to insure minorities have even fewer opportunities for jobs.

Could you point out these neighbourhoods to me? I've been living in LA a little while now and I'd sure like to avoid these areas!!

I had to drive through parts of south central a few times and been fine so I'm surprised there are these "large portions" of LA where I am likely to get shot....

I guess you've been fortunate not to drive through those portions of South Central, or East Los Angeles, or Northeast Los Angeles, when your presence wouldn't be appreciated. May I suggest doing so after about 9pm. Good luck!

There can be no doubt here in the United States that there use to be. That started to change in the 1960's with Civil Rights and Voting Rights legislation. Today, I do not think so.

I guess so! I just found his claim strange seeing as:

a) the crime rate in south central has sharply decreased recently

b) There is far more black on black crime in LA then black on white crime. In fact a black person is more likely to be a victim of crime then a white person. This is actually true throughout all of america, almost as if there is... a certain privilege to being white.

There is skin privilege in America, the darker the skin the more privileges.

Asians re a minority. Do those things apply to them as well? Or are they considered white? Or is this whole thing just BS.

I think that there is a certain upswing in your economic start point if you are white. Generally speaking of course.

Privilege is not encoded into law, it's the little things. I haven't crossed the Canadian border in years, but used to do so with relative frequency. One thing we knew for sure was that coming back to the US, being white meant you didn't get hassled at the border. The law wasn't any different, but if you were white you'd get little more than a wave through. Some of that may have changed, but at least as recently as the 90s it was very much true.

Yeah, those black neighborhoods are full of rich people. It's amazing how many of them are Fortune 500 CEOs pulling down 7 figure salaries.

Yes, anybody who denies it obviously isn't paying attention. One needs only to look at incarceration statistics, racial profiling, the proportion of black men/women victim of police brutality, poverty rates in primarily black neighborhoods, etc. to see the white privilege. It's not as prevalent as it used to be, thankfully, but it still exists and we can't fix the problem when a good chunk of the population calls you a "race baiter" simply for pointing it out.

Well, I guess you haven't been here long enough. Now that California is releasing inmates back into the community, it remains to be seen how well these stats will hold up.

As to black on black crime, you are correct. That has little relevance to the point.

At the end of the day, the "White Privilege" meme has more to do with directing the focus on something other than the failure of liberal/progressive policies that have plagued minority communities. Imagine how pleased these communities are to see the red carpet rolled out to illegal aliens who will continue the game the left has been playing for decades.

You do know the color of the skin of our president don't you? Has there ever been a US president elected with less real qualifications? He was elected because he was black. If a white man ran with his exact resume he wouldn't be elected county commissioner.

I think the economic upswing starting point you talk about has a lot to do with our schools, where they are located, drop out rates, the emphasis placed on learning and parents will to make their kids study among a host of other things. I think country and suburban schools are usually a lot better at educating than urban. But that may have more to do with the type of student and the students willingness or want to learn. Just an personal observation.

On the other, I do not think any law can change what is in a person's heart. Laws can hide one's true feelings and actions.

Yes, one silly politician changes everything of course. How could I be so dumb?

I wouldn't call it white privilege. I'd call it discrimination against minorities. And yes, that does exist.
