Is there a way of posting a video here?

That is without jumping through a bunch of hoops. I tried to attach a video here by going through the attach files. It was apparently too large. But it is only a few minutes long. If anybody here knows of an easy way of doing it, I would like you to tell me. Thanks.

Only thing I can think of is post to YT with a link or do like I've done before and get a free Dropbox account. Can post links to video through there. Takes a minute to figure out, but works well.

Even gifs are difficult to post here, around 2.5mb maximum file size. For a self hosted server like DP that is a lot of bandwidth. For videos, I created a YouTube channel just for here and upload them there unlisted and embed them here.

So by 'unlisted', you're using them as a host, but they don't go on for anyone to view? Just those who have access to your link?

Haven't delved into YT that much to figure out all the options. But that's how I've used Dropbox.

Yes, when unlisted they're only watchable by people with the link, which includes anywhere it is embedded if embedding is not disabled.
