Is the U.S. going to build an effective Syrian opposition army?

The U.S. plans to train 15,000 Syrian volunteers to fight ISIS in that country over the next three years. Will they be effective?

Of course, they will be effective. Al-Qaeda has shown the outstanding effectiveness.

Who can say it wasn't effective?

:2wave:

Ahmad Moaz al-Khatib, the former head of the so-called opposition National Coalition said President Bashar Assad can stay in power for a limited period but he should resign in a specified time. He said it is in the Syrian people’s interest to hold talks and find a political solution to the crisis. Khatib remains an influential opposition figure even though he resigned as coalition chief in 20-13. The Syrian opposition earlier this year held talks with the Syrian government but the negotiations collapsed as the opposition insisted on demanding Assad’s resignation.....snip~

The Syrian Rebels/Terrorists are realistically done and out of the game. Their Major Brigade with Numbers.....switched over to ISIS. Moreover from the very beginning their ranks were filled with Islamic Radicals and even Commanders that wanted to instill Sharia Law.

The money that Team BO has sent them 3 times with arms and including the not disclosed transfer of arms from Libya. Has been a complete waste of money. 2 times BO has sent over 500 Mil to these fools.

Again, the Saud is behind this mess. Stated they would foot the bill. So why did we send any money for arms if the Saud was covering these Sunni Rebels/ Terrorists? Just why are we still kissing the Saud's ass?
