Re: Is the Democratic Party Marxist?

Just because there might be a few commies inside of the democratic party does not make their views or their policies communist. Just like the extreme right does not make all of the republican party extremist.

Name a few.

Do you not understand "there might be", the existence of commies is very much "up in the air" so naming them would be more than a bit difficult.

Up in the air? Kinda like the fascists in the republican party?

Re: Is the Democratic Party Marxist?

Glad to know that ending the practice of having seven year olds tunneling around in the coal mines somehow puts us on the path to communism.

America, if you want to stay on righteous road of the free market you'd better get in gear and fix that sh-t. Next thing you know they'll be asking about 40 hour work weeks and overtime and then we'll be really deep in red.

No. and my powers of observation are much stronger than the OP.
Now, if someone said they thought there might be communists in the GOP, I might agree wit dat.

You just might agree with that, alright. It might just be stupid enough to make the cut for you.

Well who is to say, the GOP has their radicals the same as any other political party, now go ahead and say there's not.

Their radicals wouldn't be communist in nature, though. If they are of a Marxist bent, they'd hate republicans just like all the other Marxists do. The republican radicals would tend to be more skinhead and anarchist than commie. The democrat party gets the commie support.

Re: Is the Democratic Party Marxist?

Not sure about Marxist but clearly moving away from a Christian foundation as the party seemed to be divided taking the word God out of their platform, putting it back again etc in Charlotte. I mean the bible versus will still come out during election time but overall the party is losing that foundation, which makes it vulnerable to Marxism, or whatever.

I just got back from a big Democratic Party meeting where we discussed all ten of those. We normally have a contest where we see who can recite them by heart after drinking 16 ounces of Russian vodka and being blindfolded by the red hammer and cycle flag draped around their head. Leon Trotsky Jr. holds the record.

It amuses me greatly that 25 years after the end of the Cold War, some people have nothing better to do than try to sniff out Reds.

Re: Is the Democratic Party Marxist?

The American democratic party has always been staunchly capitalist. That's what liberalism means in most the world.. Capitalism.. Lol..

The only difference between a democrat and a republican is a democrat believes in moderate capitalism and a republican believes in fanatical capitalism. America has never had a true economically leftist party.
