No, because unnaturally forcing characteristics upon either sex is bad. The term 'boys will be boys' does not connote the meaning that it is natural for boys to do evil things. It means that there are certain natural male characteristics, and no matter how much society tries to suppress them, they will become evident. The same applies to females.
It is a common societal fallacy that teen-aged girls are universally 'nice', and teen-aged boys are rough and revolting creatures. This is not always so - many teen-aged girls are moody cows. It is just our misfortune that we are programmed to fancy them.
I agree. My experience with teenage girls (I have one and working with them in the past) is that they can be nasty pieces of work. Back biting, rude, crude, gossiping, and downright disgustingly mean to their fellow classmates (particularly mean to other girls). I don't remember it being that way when I was a teen, but granted.. that was a long assed time ago. I think it happened, it was just the exception and not the norm. Now I am saddened to say it seems to be the norm.
