This is a stupid policy. However the reason for the economic collapse was not simply giving risky loans. It was banks and other organizations bundling those loans and selling them as derivatives. It created trillions of dollars of of financial assets based on far smaller level of real (and even worse vastly overvalued) assets. This is awful policy. Just like the financial reform was awful policy, as it did nothing to limit the activities that actually led to the collapse. However, this is NOT on Obama only. Our system is broken. Obama is simply a symptom of a broken system, NOT its cause.

Arming the Syria terrorists, worst Obama policy EVER.

Is Israel bombing Syria because they fear the possibility a political settlement?

I think the pay walls at NYT, WaHoPo, and others are to hide the easily disprovable bunk in the govmnt stenography that passes for reporting these days.

Anyone who follows NPR, PBS or the NYT must be soused.

Wa(Ho)Po Lies About Arab War Support

Going by the lies of yeserdays press conference, I'd say the Prez. is going thru an extended period of cognative dissonace, or even worse, possibly a fugue type state.

Fugue[fyo̅o̅g]

a state of dissociative reaction characterized by amnesia and physical flight from an intolerable situation. During the episode the person appears normal and seems consciously aware of what may be very complex activities and behavior, but afterward he or she has no recollection of the actions or behavior. The condition may last for only a few days or weeks, or it may continue for several years, during which the person wanders away from the customary environment, enters a new occupation, and undertakes an entirely different way of life. The syndrome appears to be caused by an inability to cope with a severe conflict or with a chronically stressful life situation. A form of fugue also occurs briefly after an epileptic seizure.following recovery, they recall nothing that happened during the fugue. The disorder is usually related to emotional conflicts due to some traumatic, stressful, or overwhelming event, remits spontaneously, and rarely recurs.

If your poll had an option for 'Much Better President Than G.W. Bush', that would have been my choice.

Do you think that the GOP will ever put anyone in the White House again?

I doubt it.

In any case, have a nice day while we watch the GOP crumble.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

I'm sick of the lot! Republican and Democrat alike.

I agree with the Republican part of your comment.

What is the GOP's worst problem out of the many that it faces?

Any ideas?

Who cares about the GOP? This thread is about Obama.

Oh, wait...you'd rather not talk about Obama, right?

Are you saying you don't think he should be put on Mount Rushmore?

I'm not buying into the malarkey that some sore losers are trying to spread with this thread.

Some people who can't win fair elections try to win by other means.

Not going to happen.

Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

Deal with it.

Dude...this is a poll thread about Obama. If you don't agree with the premise of the poll, then say so. But you have no call to try to derail or deflect this thread to being about the GOP.

Frankly, if I were a mod I'd be booting your ass from this thread.

My comment is about Obama, it's about how the GOP couldn't win an election against President Obama so now it's trying to win by other means.

Do you see my point?

If the GOP could have shut up all of the opposition last year they might have put Willard M. Romney in the White House.

LOL!!

The mental gymnastics you'll go through to try to justify your deflection would be admirable...if they weren't so pathetic.

Dude...it's people like you who give political forums a bad name.

You accuse me of being off-topic and here you are totally off-topic, no mention or even allusion to Obama in your post.

Did you ever hear of psychological projection?

You are a good example of that defense mechanism.

LOL!!!

Fair enough...I'd rather you deflect to me than deflect to the GOP.

Again you are off-topic. You didn't even mention Obama.

But, you know what?

I'm going to let you slide.

This time.

Have a nice day and a wonderful life.

Thank you.

The next time you post in this thread, I hope you will stop deflecting to the GOP and instead post to the topic.

Both republicans and democrats are big government big spenders.

It's all going to crash, cause unsustainable.

But we have a chance in 2014 to teach both the runaway parties a lesson.

Data?

Bush increased size of fed government 400% and Obama another 40% on top of that!

Spending, both doubled the debt while in office.

Criminals!

As to what Obama is, is delusional. he has president confused with KING!

Obama has been groomed to carry out the Cheney Energy Policy by the NeoCons and the CFR types (i.e. – Bill Clinton, Hillary, Zbigniew Brzezinski) It was reported that Henry Kissinger was giving orders to Jim Jones, Obamas National Security Adviser during Baracks first term. Kissinger is also CFR. Its clear all of Americas led wars were planned before 9/11.

Why I write and why I will never vote Democrat again, and why Obama must be impeached/ removed from office

All those dead Libya /Syrian people will never see another Xmas because of NeoCon Obamas ruthless slaughter done in secret like Reagans Contras …

“U.S. secretly backed Syrian opposition groups, cables released by WikiLeaks show”
The Arab American News - Syria and U.S. imperialism

There are reports of mass graves in Westerm Libya hidden from reporters banned from entering that region of the country, 11,000 bombing sorties from NATO, levelled the country. Liberal talk shows try to spin away from Obama war crimes. Turn off those shows.

None of the above. While I disageee with the POTUS on many issues I believe he's trying to accomplish what he thinks is best for the country.
In this case, overwhelming the system is what he thinks is best for the country.
