Is it realistic to believe we can save the planet with regulations?

Oh, please. The Trump obsession is so overblown both sides are just drooling over him for different reasons.

You think the right's the only one puckering up? The left's been smooching his shadow every time they freak out over his every word. What's your deal why're you so fixated on him anyway?
I see that all of your posts here are ****ing stupid

Oh, come on, you're acting like this is some unprecedented crisis! Every generation thinks their problems are the worst ever pure nostalgia bias. People have been dodging responsibility and bending the truth since forever; it's just louder now because of tech. And don't kid yourself past presidents weren't saints either; they just had better PR. Greed? Nepotism? Check JFK or FDR. Russia? Cold War says hi. Class divide? Gilded Age laughs at you. Society's always been split Civil War, anyone? You're not wrong because you're hopeful; you're wrong because you're exaggerating. What's your benchmark for normal anyway?
My benchmark is BT/AT: before Trump/after Trump. You clearly disagree and that's perfectly fine; I won't try to convince you of anything. But in my opinion, Trump is a black swan event. I will say I truly hope you are right and Trump/Trumpism is another blip on the historical radar. I'll eat that crow and ask for seconds if I wrong and American conservatism recovers from its cuckolding to Donald.

I hear you, and it's cool that you've got your own lens for looking at things BT/AT is a pretty unique way to frame it. Trump as a black swan event? That's an interesting take, and I can see why you'd say that with how he's shaken stuff up. I'm not here to argue either just chatting it out. Honestly, l'd be happy to see how this all plays out too. History's got a funny way of surprising us, right? You sound like you're ready for whatever comes next, crow or not!

Because he represents an open, naked embrace of things we as a society once at the very least paid lip service to denouncing.
Yeah, I get what you're saying. It does feel like Trump's style ripped the mask off some stuff we used to at least pretend to keep under wraps. That raw, unfiltered vibe he's got going it's definitely a shift from the usual polished talk we're used to.

After watching this video, several things occurred to me. First, how lucky I am to have been born in this country. Second, how unfortunate for millions of people who were born in third-world countries. Last, is there any hope at saving this planet, or has over population diminished that possibility?

You may never forget this video.

This appears to be more about poor planning than population growth
