Do you think he will still know he is the richest man in the world even though he lost his mind?
I worry about that as I get older and check my stock portfolio.

NO, he's the most popular African-American in our country.
But unlike the other rich man, Bezos, Musk doesn't need to parade around with a flashy, buxom woman in order to show his political prowess in public.

But having said that I cant help feel that highlighting his corrosive presence is somehow missing the point.
Let me explain.

Elon is supposedly the worlds richest man but his wealth is narrowly based and totally dependent on government money and legislation.

In the recent election he spent a reported 200m dollars to purchase Trump.

The average fortune 500 company is valued at 43 trillion dollars.

Now that is a huge sum for even musk.
But for 200m he has bought the whole govt.

He can protect his own core businesses. In fact he can ensure that the steady supply of government cash continues to roll in.

But why stop at that ?

Who benefits from tariffs on imported Chinese EVs ? That s a tough one to answer.

Tax cuts will also help him support his various families. And as a bonus he gets to cosplay as Hitler and "own the libs".

I do not know if buying tump is tax deductable but if it isnt it probably will be before the next election.

But he has set the bar for takeovers. Maybe next time the price will go up ? Its unlikely that he will get a dupe as mallebale as Trump.

Its a big constitutional change for the US. The House and the Senate are both redundant in the new reality.

I think Herr Musk is a genius for spotting this opportunity.
