Many experts agree that fascism is a mass political movement that emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of the nation over the individual. This model of government stands in contrast to liberal democracies that support individual rights, competitive elections, and political dissent.

Trump ?

Fascists are famously incompetent.
Exactly, they are narcissistic and can be destroyed. Look no farther than what happened to Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

One day Donald Trump will eat his own words. It is not if, but when the people decide to Save America from Trumpism.

A through-line of President Donald Trump’s second term in office is that his administration believes it can act with impunity when it comes to the law and to the U.S. Constitution. In a recent interview, President Trump responded to a question as to whether he had to uphold the Constitution with, “I don’t know.” In the more than 150 executive orders (EOs) that President Trump has issued during the first four months of this term, he frequently asserts that he is acting under authority granted him by Article II of the Constitution. In fact, the Constitution is intended to limit the powers of the presidency, not provide nearly limitless authority as President Trump is contending. The Constitution does not give a president the power to violate the Constitution, create or change congressional statutes, or override U.S. Supreme Court decisions—no matter what the EOs say.

President Trump makes no such claim as to his power as president.

All of this hair on fire, sky is falling nonsense is rooted in the belief, and offered by those who believe, that the Constitution needs to be abolished.

Let that one bake your noodle...

Hi Martian,

It talks like a fascist. It acts like a Fascist. It thinks like a fascist. It smells like a fascist.

It's a fascist.

Joey

Name it to tame it.

Dictator. Definitely not.

Protofascist. Fascist. Neofascist. None quite fit.

Authoritarian. Autocrat. Close but not quite.

Competitive authoritarian. Competition is real but unfair. Closer still.
