What the hell do you think vouchers are?
All States DON'T have Vouchers ! And more parents giving their kids better educations do it on thier Dime, unless they are a Crooked DEM....
No. Because it's the stupidest thing I have ever seen on DP. Like licking the windows-level stupid.

Renewing a visa, getting a green card, becoming a citizen all involve immigration court.
Well that must be because YOU are the one liking the windows !
An AMERICAN can get their visa at a Library or any other place that does Visas !
A Green card and "BECOMING" a citizen are by DEFINITION NOT A LEGAL CITIZEN OF THE USA !.....
Might want to think more and talk less!

Thanks for Playing !

Let me say it again, and I'll type a little slower to make it easy for you: ALL legal immigration involves going to immigration court. No exceptions.

This is incorrect.

You are flat-out incorrect. An embassy counts, but so does ANY American soil, regardless of how someone got here.

May I suggest you google these things and look at the actual statutes before you post such foolish things?
Was that all the crap TRAITOR Obama had added in 2008 ? .....

It is a GOOD thing dismantling the DOE since the DOE has done nothing for America but turn our Public Schools into veritable peach tree dishes of evil Liberal group think!

Well you need to think about what you said and the response that was given to what you "SAID" to understand that CHANGING things on the Fly to my yourself look less stupid has NOTHING to do with the other persons, and everything to do with you !.....

Also until they are out of immigration Court and legal, THEY ARE NOT LEGAL! ......
SO ANY STUPID PERSON could understand that they ARE NOT YET LEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........................

D'ho!!!!

Thanks for playing !
Come again!

I agree. Clearly we need to try something that might work. What we are doing now is not working.
Just more rubbish from the decades'-old Republican fight against unions.

I figured this out when I was much, much younger, courtesy of the then-right-wing Reader's Digest.

That today's GOPers are so hell-bent to piss on unions (and on women) they are willing to dismantle our public school system shows how little they care about preserving democracy*.

*Sixteen years of Catholic education taught me that free public schools that provide decent educations to everyone are one of the foundations of our democracy. Yep, the nihil obstat Catholic textbooks preached that, over and over....

No. I gave you the link to the relevant federal law.

Youtube is not a satisfactory response.

You lose. Again.
In your link it shows that additions were made in 2008.......... So I'm assuming!
In the Congressional hearing in the video the statements by Holman WERE NOT CHALLENGED, and they seem far more reasonable for Immigration Law.

I'll wait for the out come of all the Biden invasion Insanity ! As Millions leave and get deported , I'll take that as a signed that
the LYING DEMS &MEDIA are lying again , and that the People who want to Make America Great are telling the Truth or closest to it!

So you can stop being annoying and just wait and see what happens, in instead of getting all pissy and riled up!
Have a Nice Day!

It would appear they can't maintain the government standards as it is, so yes. What's needed is a national minimum standard, with staff to monitor compliance, wit teeth to intervene in failing states.
Sounds like a good idea. We could call the Dept of Education.

Clearly the government union workers are not getting the job done even though we spend more we get less. Time to fix things clearly. More money isn't the solution because it hasn't worked and isn't working. Time for changes.

Yet, per the 10th Amendment
Education is a realm reserved for the States or individual.

How did the Federals get so involved?

It got involved because federal money is given to the states for education. Big government.
I would rather see the states do more taxing and federal regulate according to the constitution not the money.
Same with Medicaid. Let the states tax the people since they are the ones spending the money. That way the people of each state have to account to the people they are taxing where they are spending the money.

If California wants to give illegals money let them tax the people of California for it. If they have to answer to the people that are being taxed they will find out the people may not be happy with how their money is being spent.

Ether way the people will have to pay for it. I just think the people being taxed should be able to hold the people spending their money accountable. It is the right way to do it. Why should my tax dollars go to people in California when I cannot vote for the people spending the money. Clearly taxation without representation. Trump is right the federal government needs to get out of it or run it.

My personal opinion of the Department of Education is that it's most likely not as necessary as people believe it is or want it to be, and that it has also most likely not created a more educated country since its creation in 1980. A lot of people seem to think that the department has been around 100+ years and that it's always been a part of American history, but it hasn't. Neither my parents or my grandparents ever spent a day in their K-12 experience under the guidance of the DoE, and I could argue that the majority of both of those generations are better educated than the majority of current generations, including my own.

I agree. I think when things get to the federal level the child becomes a number not a student. Local money and local control has proven to work and big government continues to spend more and get less results.
