A xhange is needed. That cannot be denied.
But is Burnham the answer ?
It couldnt get worse. But he just seems to be a nu labour identikit to me.
Apart from the basic problems he faces.
First he needs a friendly MP to stand dowm Then if je gets to tje hoise he needs 80 MPs to nominate him. Starmer has already purged the most likeely ones so that might be tough.
It looks like a big ask. And im not sure it will be worth it.
Id prefer him but is that much better ?

At least as mayor of Manchester he has practical political management skills and isn't a pusillanimous southern softie like Starmer.
