Is abortion a religious issue? Is abortion a state issue? Is abortion a personal issue?

The odd thing is that abortion is now higher than any time in the past decade. What exactly are the anti-abortion religious people celebrating?

Yup...in the red states where they've tightened restrictions and made the timeframe for weeks earlier...women may not have enough time to figure out their support networks and job situations and cant take the risk...so decide on the side of better safe than sorry.

Minimize women's lives and needs and they'll opt for survival...as they should. Many have others depending on them, have responsibilities and obligations to others.

Religion? Yes I recommend not having one if you feel it is against you religion.

State? Yes States should ensure access to safe abortions during the first and second trimesters, but they should be able to limit elective abortions in the 3rd.

Personal? Yes, if you are against abortion. Don’t have one.

Glad to help.

I say yes, no, and yes.

So want to make it a religious issue or use religion as a basis for a pro life argument. But that fails as abortion is a legal issue.
Hang on lets be accurate.Abortion became a legal issue. For years it was not and then those with strong religious issues as to morality then saw to it to impose those religious beliefs as to abortion into the criminal laws of their state.

To ignore that correlation and origin is silly.

Technically though your argument is correct in that unless a religious belief is put into a law, its not legally enforceable.

So I am not sure what your point is.

I am aware abortion has become a legal issue and religion is largely the reason and problem behind that.
The point is, there is no rational or legal reason to restrict abortion. Neither is it anyone's business or concern. That's always been the point.
