the initial strain. That means your choice effects ME. Someone getting an abortion does not affect my life, or risks my families health one bit, bit some idiot not getting vaccinated because of misinformation and paranoia does affect my family.

You don't do maths very well, do you. There are 328M people in the USA., which works out to 1.9% As for abortion, a fetus is not yet a person... and it is a choice of the woman not to be an incubator.There have been about 626,000 deaths in America due to Covid and the underlying conditions of those who have contracted Covid while suffering from the underlying conditions.
That is less than 1% of the population. About 1 in 528. That's a lot. 92% are older than 60. 70% are overweight. 94% have underlying conditions.
When choosing to end a life by abortion, the relationship is closer to 1 in 1. That's a lot more.
For those who are younger than 40 who also have no underlying conditions and are not over weight, the chances of getting by with no problems are pretty high.
It's not the choice I would make, but the choice seems to be justifiable. At least for now.
