I've been thinking about purchasing a copy of the book "Into the Cannibal's Pot: Lessons for America from Post-Apartheid South Africa" for a while, but I've always kind of held this one on the back burner.

Has anyone here read this book? What are your thoughts on it?

I'm a little torn as the book seems interesting, but I just read an article by the books author that has me feeling a little non-plussed.

The article seems to indicate that the author is libertarian as far as politics go, but the actual writing seems very subpar. I found myself thinking that the author can't keep a train of thought flowing in one direction, and kind of just hops from one idea to the next in what is more like a rambling post than a proper article for a news or opinion website.
