Four years of chaos.

Oh, and in this case she probably did it on purpose so that agent has to live the rest of their life (probably be short) being hunted by domestic and/or foreign murderers.

"The covert official was included in a list of names shared by Gabbard online."

What are her qualifications to be Director of National Intelligence? I can't find them listed anywhere. Barring blind loyalty to her Dear Leader, I mean.

Is outing the 'secret' agent nothing more than: The guy you thought worked for the State Dept actually works for the CIA?

How about the National Intelligence chief doesn't out any agents? Is that too much to ask?

I would say it would matter if the agent was knowingly playing politics or not, and what there roll is. The CIA if for foregn threats. Not to investigate citizens. They should be jailed if they are operating outside their mandate.

This is what gets me, there is no LOW enough for Righties. Outing a secret agent because one has a personal bone to pick with that agent is about as sleazy as it gets.
Now, imagine if at some future time, a Democrat outs a secret agent because of politics, it would raise the hackles of every Rightie out there. THAT is a fact. YOU know it, I know it.
BUT because it is Gabbard doing it, well then, she has her reasons.

Morality and common decency has now become void on the Right if they view everything through a lens of whether it was justified by a politician or sycophant on the Right.

Let me be clear: I am a Liberal, if ANY LIBERAL every exposed a Canadian secret agent they would immediately lose my support. I would view that as a heinous act. PERIOD.

But again, because Gabbard did it and we know who she is loyal to, you put your morals and sense of common decency aside so your side can score a point.

Seriously?

The democrats were using our intelligence assets to nail republicans, namely president Trump.

THIS IS WORSE THAT WATERGATE WAS!

I am not going to accuse Tulsi Gabbard of being smart or wise.

Dear Leaders - trump and Putin.

Yeah, not what we're talking about.

Remember when Cheney's office outed the wife of Joe Wilson, an ambassador who wrote an article disagreeing with the "enriched plutonium" myth used to justify the war in Iraq? Democrats and Republicans reacted with outrage. Now Trump supporters sink ever lower to justify this. It's bizarre, it's sickening.

Back in the Bush days, this kind of crap action got someone fired, indicted and sentenced to prison.

The federal statute that protects CIA agents from being identified is the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982, codified primarily in 50 U.S. Code § 3121. This law makes it a federal crime to knowingly expose a covert U.S. intelligence agent.
