Well, we had that 'glitch' last year, mentioned within link(81T). But has nothing on this farmer.

A farmer from a remote village in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district was left stunned after discovering that his account had been credited with a bank balance with 36 digits
On April 25, his account balance reflected an implausible sum:
₹1,00,13,56,00,00,01,39,54,21,00,23,56,00,00,01,39,542
While Ajit’s wife initially expressed joy upon seeing the surreal balance, that feeling quickly turned to anxiety. Fearing fraud, ....
:unsure:Figured you just worked really hard.😅
Despite assurances, the balance continued to reflect in his account. Ajit then approached local police, who advised him to escalate the matter to the cybercrime division and file a formal complaint.
What's going on here? Your bank can't figure out why you could rule the planet with your wealth on their back?;)
As of now, Ajit’s account has been frozen, and he remains uncertain whether he has been the victim of fraud or caught in a banking system error.
My money is frozen due to something on your end?... Hardship!
Fine, let's settle for a 10 digit sum of a 1 and 9 zeros. Drop in the bucket.

Heck the interest on that over 1 month would have been enough to retire

Read lots of stories about this kind of screw up in an Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. The bank or whoever makes an error through a misplaced decimal point or types in the wrong account number and suddenly a Joe or Jane Six Pack is hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars richer.....and they are dumb enough to actually spend that money as if it was their own.
