Despite it all, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. won his 10th term in the South Side and south suburban 2nd Congressional District on Tuesday. With 73 percent of precincts reporting, Jackson had 68 percent of the vote. Brian Woodworth, the Republican candidate, had 18 percent, while independent Marcus Lewis had 14 percent.....snip~

Sneed has learned U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., who handily won re-election Tuesday despite a lengthy stay at Mayo Clinic for depression and bipolar disorder, is in the midst of plea discussions with the feds probing his alleged misuse of campaign funds.

No one has pled guilty, but plea discussions are ongoing,” said a top Sneed source, who said Jackson is still undergoing treatment at Mayo Clinic.

Sneed is also told Jackson, who returned to Mayo Clinic after undergoing outpatient treatment in the seclusion of his home in Washington, D.C., is not only being investigated for allegedly using campaign funds to decorate his Washington home — but also Sneed hears he may also have used campaign funds to buy a $40,000 Rolex watch as a gift for a female friend

“This has been an ongoing nightmare for the Jackson family, particularly his wife, Ald. Sandi Jackson, and the Reverend [his father, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.],” added the source, who is familiar with the campaign funds probe.

Another crook elected to office.....plus he is still under the Ethics violation for the issue over Obamas Senator seat and Blagovich who was convicted. Course they should look a little closer at Sandy being the one who was behind the decorating and home improvements in the House in DC. She is an Alderwoman in the City and should be knocked for it just as well.

Do you think his name gets him elected all the time? Now he is in a plea deal. Any reason he should be allowed to keep his office?

No takers.....huh? Think it matters that this Congressman wants to put himself into the Mayo clinic for being Bipolar. Has been caught up in a scandal and now is doing everything he can to ask the Feds to not proceed. Now he wants some sort of Plea deal.

Why should he be given the Right to Vote on any legislation? Not that he has for some time now. Should any of his votes be Challenged that he has made. Considering he is so Bipolar like that he has to stick himself into a hospital.

Not to mention now having Daddy step into the limelight to try and save the day. Shouldn't other Democrats be asking for his Resignation?

Whats really funny is both Quinn and Emanuel have come out and said as soon as the new session is in. They will go after Teachers pension Reform and that of City workers. Telling them that if they don't reform they wont have a pension! But hey they won Right? :lol:
