“Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay the death of George Floyd in the hands of Minneapolis police… have no regard, downplay slavery and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth should never exist.”

She continued:

There is nothing more effed up than to completely pretend that his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so. You have people like Nancy Mace who constantly harass people that she finds inferior and wants them not to exist in this country or ever, and you have people like Trump who has incited violence against people like me. And so, these people are full of shit and it’s important for us to call them out. While we feel anger and sadness and have empathy — which Charlie said shouldn’t exist because that’s a “newly created word” or something. Like, I have empathy for his kids and his wife and what they’re going through because I do not want that for my family.

Reasonable. She feels empathy for those who are now suffering as a result of this barbaric act, but refuses to call Kirk's destructive and divisive rhetoric for anything other than what it was. His rhetoric downplaying slavery was particularly repulsive.

She was also right to call Trump and Trumplicans full of shit when they leapt to condemn "radical lefitsts" before they knew anything about the shooter.

And that Trump has incited violence against her.

Watch the full interview she makes many reasonable points and brings up comments Charlie Kirk made over the years immediately after school shootings showing how Charlie Kirk (and the right at large) lack empathy and care more about their guns than saving lives.

Uh oh, a truth bomb just went off.

She's probably right. Kirk was a MAGA troll, running about using standards provocateur tactics to try to ragebait folk into things he could publish as clips on social media for clicks and cash.

He did a good job at it, didn't deserve to die for his divisive and toxic rhetoric. But he was nothing special, just another troll in a world full of them.

If you can’t beat em, shoot em. 🤷‍♂️

Well, you've provided what SHE said, but any of us who wanted could have found what she said on our own. I for one don't typically care for much of anything she has to say. IMO it was a mistake to import an entire segment of a foreign population and place them all together in one locale. They act like they are a separate sub-nation, and are not seeking to assimilate.

What is YOUR take on what she said, i.e. what's so important that we should be considering?

🤣

And I don't particularly care for anything you have to say, and I'd trade every MAGA in this country for a Muslim immigrant in a heartbeat.

Do you feel better now that you've vented your racism out?

They act like they are a separate sub-nation, and are not seeking to assimilate.

You think this is unusual in the history of immigration in this nation?

Look up why Lawrence Welk had a German accent sometime.

Oh no. Yall upset that someone with a dark complection is expressing their opinion? First amendment doesn't mean shit to yall unless it's a guy trashing blacks huh?

The irony here is Omar and Kirk are (were) flipsides of the same coin.

BTW, this has shit to do with the first amendment. Both can (could) speak as they do. And we all get to respond to it (hint, same freedom.)

Relatively both are (were) far from center, both fit in well with their respective fringe groups within their respective political parties, both are (were) relatively uninterested in much other than inflammatory rhetoric and vilification of their opposition, and all things considered neither one really cares (cared) much for anyone outside of their respective opinions.

The fact that we see some upset with one and not the other goes a long way to validate everything I am saying.
