Impeachment is a total waste of time, energy and money. Which I think shouldn’t be taken unless it has a good chance of succeeding. Impeachment is a fools errand so to speak. It takes 2/3rds of the senate to vote for conviction or guilty for removal. What are the chances of that happening? None, nil, zero. That means 20 republican senators would have to join the 47 democrats for a guilty verdict. Not going to happen. The only way I would support impeachment is if it had a chance of success, if not, don’t waste my and all of America’s time.

You need a better imagination. The MAGAs would not give a rip. They'd find some made-up explanation (fake news, he just rode along to watch, etc.) or defense, as they have for everything else illegal or immoral that he has done so far.
 
Impeachment only takes a majority of the House. It's the Senate's responsibility to convict by a 2/3 majority.

Okay, but what does that accomplish? Nadda. Trump impeached twice, Bill Clinton once. Both found not guilty. Outside of the party doing the impeachment feeling good about themselves, what else? It’s ha, ha, you’re impeached. What was accomplished? Far as I’m concerned, all three was a total waste of time.
 
You underestimate the devotion of maga. They absolutely would. There is nothing trump can do that would make them blink. Ive tried for years.
 

No, I'm saying if that they can't make a case against these people who are definitely known to have had sex on Lolita Island, then going after Trump because he *might* have is going to be dubious at best.

Republicans voted against impeaching Trump after he sent an angry mob to kill them. They are more afraid of his voters than they are of anything he might have done.

But Biden didn't have to convince the hard core MAGA, just the centrist in the middle who voted for him in 2020 but wasn't so keen to do so with $10.00 eggs and $5.00 gas.

And if he had the goods on Trump on Lolita Island, that would have helped a lot.

You know damned well when his people got to DOJ, they looked for it. There was just nothing to find.
